I would appreciate everyone’s prayers for my first clinical experience days this week. Tomorrow is my first one, at a senior center, and on Fridays I will be at an outpatient behavioral health clinic for kids with various challenges. I am nervous and hoping to learn a lot.

If the student isn’t like this, the parent is like this for them. Delusion and visions of grandeur on the daily. 😂😂

Unfortunately growing up involves the realization that doing this at the beginning of the week improves your quality of life for the other six days

One thing I’ve been feeling a lot of heaviness about this week is my future work as a therapist. My professors have been talking about the importance of holding hope for our clients. I could not ever ever do this without Jesus. “…we are healed by His wounds.” (Is. 53:5)

This morning my pastor talked about the things that sit in our hearts as we come to worship - sometimes joy, sometimes heaviness, disappointment, and doubt - and how sometimes the community is holding for us that which we cannot summon for ourselves. #JesusisLord
