🚨BREAKING: Gay comedian Matt Mathews is facing heavy backlash and calls to be canceled after rejecting preferred pronouns on camera.
During an interview, he shut it down when the host used “them” for his partner and said: “We don’t use that pronoun shit here. You’re a boy or a girl. I have a boyfriend, he’s a ‘he.’ We don’t do any of that they/them crap.”
Activists and nonbinary voices quickly labeled it a betrayal of the community and accused him of validating hate. Others praised him for refusing to play along with the language rules.
The clip is spreading fast, and the cancel calls are already rolling in.
