Excellent work by @ZitoSalena in @dcexaminer capturing America’s manufacturing resurgence under @POTUS. It was a privilege to join Salena in Pittsburgh to discuss how companies like @PoweredByEos are reshoring manufacturing and creating jobs across America’s heartland.

"Eos moved into a shuttered Westinghouse plant, revitalized it, and is now producing some of the most advanced batteries in the world to meet rising energy demand.” — @AlexFitzDC
We're grateful to @ZitoSalena for highlighting the recent visit by U.S. DOE Associate Deputy Secretary, Alex Fitzsimmons, to our Western Pennsylvania facilities.
Her article explores how Eos is transforming a historic manufacturing site into a hub for advanced battery production and American energy innovation.

WARRENDALE, Pennsylvania — Joe Mastrangelo stood on the mezzanine overlooking the factory floor of Eos Energy Enterprises’ new plant, his eyes welling as he looked out over the rows of yellow-caged robotic cells, conveyors, and steel gantries stretching nearly the length of the building below.
“I come and stand here every morning, and I still can’t believe that this is where we are today,” the Eos CEO said. “I am both so humbled and also proud of what we are building.”

Big announcement to strengthen America’s grid component supply chain. Congrats to Katie Jereza and the @DOEelectricity team!
Thanks for having me @PoweredByEos! 🇺🇸
Proud to welcome @AlexFitzDC of the DOE to our Western Pennsylvania manufacturing operations this week.
@ENERGY is working to strengthen grid security and reduce America's reliance on foreign-made equipment, including battery storage. Eos was built to meet exactly that need.
We design and manufacture zinc-based long-duration energy storage in the U.S., powered by a domestic supply chain and a skilled Pennsylvania workforce. At Thorn Hill, Alex saw how the DOE's loan program is helping us expand American manufacturing capacity.
Thank you, Associate Deputy Secretary for the visit, and thank you @ZitoSalena for telling the story of American manufacturing.

Thanks @palmettonuclear for the opportunity to discuss America’s nuclear renaissance. An honor to work alongside @RepRussellFry to advance affordable, reliable, and secure energy in South Carolina and across the U.S.
We hit the ground running this morning with the Palmetto Nuclear Coalition's 3rd Annual SC Nuclear Summit. Kicking off our program is Assoc. Dep. Secretary at @ENERGY @AlexFitzDC , & @RepRussellFry. The discussions we're having in Columbia, SC today will be felt across the globe!
Thanks Tricia! Energy abundance FTW!
Terrific message from @AlexFitzDC from @ENERGY at the SC Nuclear Summit. @POTUS American Energy Dominance agenda secures America’s future by giving us more energy to power our daily lives. 🇺🇸

Honor to help my DOE colleagues announce these awards. Great work @DOEelectricity!
Yesterday, Associate Deputy Secretary Fitzsimmons was in Charlotte, North Carolina celebrating @ENERGY's SPARK Initiative that will strengthen America's electric grid and lower electricity prices across the nation!
Go Katie! 🇺🇸
A stronger grid means greater resilience when storms hit!⚡️🌴
Assistant Secretary Katie Jereza visited @EntergyNOLA to see how upgraded distribution poles are improving reliability for 1,900+ homes & businesses—helping reduce storm outages and deliver $7.4M in estimated savings.
And we’re just getting started!
Two landmark wins for geothermal in 72 hours: @ENERGY awarded $99 million to 21 pilot projects, and @fervoenergy's Cape Station achieved First Power. DOE sees geothermal scaling to 90 gigawatts by 2050, a hundredfold increase from today.

The Energy Department is investing in America’s electric grid by supporting transmission upgrades!
This will lower electricity costs for approximately 100 MILLION Americans, improve grid reliability, and strengthen grid capacity. 🇺🇸
Thanks @jharrell and @ClearPathAction for the timely discussion on American Energy Dominance
During today’s Carbon Innovation Forum @jharrell, @SenJohnCurtis and @AlexFitzDC discussed how scaling clean, affordable and reliable power is how we secure American energy dominance and reduce global emissions.
Geothermal is here for a good time AND a long time! Thx @JMPyper
“The next decade will be the geothermal decade,” says @AlexFitzDC at @ClearPathFound’s #ClimateWeekNYC event.
Just today @ENERGY announced nearly $100M for 21 projects to advance US geothermal development: energy.gov/articles/energy-d…
