This upcoming season will be my first full year covering the Indiana Pacers as the lead writer for Pacers on Sports Illustrated.
In addition to writing, you can hear me on my podcast Setting The Pace, with my cohost Michael @_Facci. This will be our 8th season covering the team together.
The season officially began this Monday with NBA Media Day and their Training Camp practices started Tuesday.
If you’d like to keep up with the team this season, I will have articles and podcasts available for you daily.
I appreciate everyone’s support of my Pacers coverage and I can’t wait for the upcoming year.

Every fan dreams of having a franchise player like Tyrese Haliburton.
Pacers fans are lucky enough to call him their own.
Obi Toppin played a significant role in the Pacers 123-120 victory against the Pelicans.
Last night we learned that Indiana is going to need Toppin more than ever this season and he could just be the team’s X-Factor.

@_Facci & @AlexGoldenNBA recap the Pacers 123-120 victory thanks to the sensational play from their STARS.
It was an emotional, back-and-forth game that ended with a Pacers W.

This season, we will be doing something different for our Game Recap shows.
In addition to our typical 30-40 minute long-form recaps, we will also be doing a 2-4 minute Quick Recap.
Hopefully you enjoy the additional content as we continue to grow Setting the Pace.

Means the world to be back in the fight with my brothers. See y’all Friday, go ‘Cers🙏🏽
Haliburton could hardly answer the postgame questions as he was overwhelmed with emotions following the Pacers’ 123-120 victory.
That’s a BIG TIME shot by Hali.
Goes left and hits the floater while taking a big hit from Zion.
Incredible touch and finish.
Haliburton gets called for a technical foul here after the timeout.
Queen had deflected the ball out of Haliburton’s hands a few plays earlier on a double-team and let Haliburton know about it.
Haliburton drove to the basket and drew the foul on Queen the next play. He followed it up with an and-1…and then this play happened.
That was awesome. Haliburton pick and roll to Siakam who found Big Zu for the lob.
Then a little scuffle took place. Pacers trail Pelicans by 1.
Pacers nearly get doubled up in the second quarter.
Pelicans outscore Indiana 35-18 and take a 10-point lead into the half.
Zion Williamson has 15 points on 5-9 shooting.
Obi Toppin and Pascal Siakam each have 13 points.
Tyrese Haliburton held scoreless in the 2nd quarter.
Carlisle might have to play Nembhard all 24 minutes in the second half.
Pacers have gotten crushed when he’s on the bench
