With malleable words? Yeah, that's not happening.
What's it matter? Words don't inherently carry any meaning for you because they are malleable. You just make them say whatever you want.
It's not just the Constitution you do this with. You do the same by eisegetically reading the Bible making it say what you want.
Despicable!
Replying to @XianImperialist
I know! It's terrible.
How about that bastion of liberalism, Cenchrea Church of God.? I was told they had a deaconess, too. She even spends her time delivering and explaining the scriptures not only to the saints in Cenchrea but also in other churches like Rome.
Lord help us!
Replying to @alcadizzar19 @BenjaminRoberts
"Words on the paper are malleable."
This is sinister and is worse than even the libs. It is a postmodern non-sensical take which reveals the rot of conservatism.
You will change the meaning of words from their original intent to get what you want.
It's vile and disgusting.
Replying to @DustyDeevers
This is why you can't vote Republican. Since 1980 not only do Dems see dramatic decreases in abortion when they are in charge, Republicans barely see any decrease at all.
Now the GOP wants to make IVF free! Stand up against these evil murderers.
Replying to @ChillaMandate @BenjaminRoberts
Man it will be awesome seeing you CNs go down. We are all so tired of you taking this country to hell in a hand basket.
The IQ of this place will raise markedly.

You lost me at pro life and Republican. I hope it's just ignorance.

You failed 2nd grade reading, didn't you.
It's immoral to say all persons are to be counted...
But not you.
Ergo, you are not a person.
Replying to @DrJayRichards @JonSchweppe
1. All persons are to be counted.
2. Wait, we ain't counting you.
3. Ergo you aren't viewed as a whole person.
Amend the Constitution if you want. But today you don't get to decide who is a person and who isn't.
I imagine we disagree on virtually everything but I can at least applaud your honesty here.
You cannot simply make this Constitution say what you want it to say. Either:
1. Follow it
2. Amend it where it needs it
3. Get rid of it and start over
There are no other REAL options.

"spirit of the law" 😂🙄😳🙄
You guys make liberals look sane. WOW!
"counting the whole number of persons in a state."
We ain't counting you.
Ergo, you are not considered a person.
You guys are really stunted intellectually.
Replying to @bert_poaster @BenjaminRoberts
It's not. It's a "who gets counted for apportionment question."
Take this afternoon and read the Constitution...then start following it.
If we ignore the Constitution we will not have a country. We will not allow fools living in their mom's basements to take this country on a carpet ride to hell.
Thankfully, you are all being outed and will be squashed in less than week. Then we will have our country back!!!
Replying to @bert_poaster @BenjaminRoberts
Funny. In this case the Constitution is correct. But if you want to argue your case do it through an amendment process.
To be a conniving liar and say that the Constitution doesn't allow illegals to be counted is putrid.
The Bishops are right...your view is novel!
Replying to @SteveCortes
You guys are way worse than the libs in ignoring the rule of law.
The Bishops are simply saying we should follow our own rules as laid out in the Constitution & the precedent it has set.
You guys want to put novel spin on the wording of our great document. You libs need to sit.
Replying to @bert_poaster @BenjaminRoberts
Yes, it was wrong! You know what you do when something in the Constitution is wrong? You AMEND it.
There is actually a provision to change wrong things. It's there because evil men will try to change it surreptitiously by putting their own spin on America's greatest document.
The Bishops were right to speak against you liberals. You will ignore any original intent and force your point of view on the text.
We know exactly what they thought both in the Constitution as well as in the very first census which these same men authorized.
Liberal nonsense!
Replying to @Senayip @Magister_Mondo
It takes away personhood because the Constitution says "COUNTING THE WHOLE NUMBER OF PERSONS IN EACH STATE."
You are defacto saying these people are not persons when you take away the Constitutional right to be counted.
If it's an issue, amend the Constitution.
