A jury found that Trump committed 34 felonies to help win the White House in 2016.
After committing those crimes, once he took office, Trump then appointed three Supreme Court justices.
Those justices, along with the three other conservatives, then delayed — for months — efforts to hold Trump accountable for allegedly committing more crimes to hold onto power after losing the 2020 election.
Now, those same justices have supported the idea that Trump enjoys absolute immunity for "official acts" — thereby drastically weakening efforts to hold Trump accountable relating to this case and likely others.

A lot of emotion in this. I just want to say THANK YOU Green Bay. Thank you for the last 11 years. It’s been a hell of a run. I always wanted to raise a Lombardi on Lombardi avenue, but I will never complain. I gave it my all. I always gave it my best no matter the circumstance and to me, that truly was enough. My 32 year old self is so damn proud of that 21 year old with no facial hair, bushy tail kid that just wanted to do his best. I’m so proud of you. For whatever happens next, I look forward to it. To the city and fans all across the world, I just want to say thank you. To the entire organization, Thank you. To entire coaching staffs, Thank you. To the entire support staff, Thank you. To my wife and daughter (Frankie and Felix): I hope you are proud. To my family (Debbie, Karl, Eric, Andrew, and Danielle): I hope I represented our name with pride these past 11 years in Green Bay. I cannot thank everyone, so I hope this post will suffice. Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile, because it happened.

Every season is about wins and losses, but I think it’s fair to say 2023 for the Packers was also a year of self-evaluation and development.
With one of the youngest rosters in the NFL and a wildcard at QB, they were a tough team to size up before the season.
Not everything happens overnight in the NFL and there have been uneven moments, but seeing Jordan Love and the young skill guys around him develop has been really cool.
Matt LaFleur seems to be getting a better feel for how to maximize this offense each week as well. There are some true building blocks that make the future in Green Bay look bright.
It’s a long season in the NFL and not every team gets better by the week. Green Bay looks like one of those teams.
