I am enjoying the ease of solder surface mount components with a soldiering station.
I am waiting on the rest of the DigiKey shipment now.
I keep on underestimating Claude.
* I feed it a half-baked question about my project.
* I expect it to give me a yes or no on whether or not my project is feasible with the hardware I listed.
* I leave the Claude window and work on something else.
* Time passes and I forget about the AI working in the background.
* Then, a strange browser window pops up on my screen. Claude has created a whole web page with a plan for assembling the whole device in my project.
What on Earth? I had no idea that it could do that! And the depths that it went is crazy!
The Waytronic voice chip was giving me problems. So, I am readying my ATtiny85 to help.
Replying to @AlexSchazz
I have given up on setting up the button mode. I am programming an ATtiny85 to control the voice chip.
Unfortunately, all I have are surface mount chips.
Hmm...
I can fix this.
Today, I am trying to get the Waytronic WT588F02B voice chip to play a sound the moment it turns on.
This should be simple. It has not been.
This is the second time that this has appeared in the last two days. I have no idea what I have done to deserve this.
I am still learning about circuits. Here, I have setup an LED that (while the button is still pressed) turns itself off after a short time. Simple, but, it still feels like an accomplishment to someone whose experience is mostly in software.
Setup some WS2812B LED strip lights. Was mostly trying to see the defuse effect of the 3D printed material.
I have been working with Waytronic's WT588F02B voice chip. It is surprisingly simple to program.
For my project, the biggest problem that I will face, in regards to sound, is acquiring the sounds. The tech seems to be dead simple.
I was surprised to see how easy it was to program the Voice Chip. The biggest problem will be creating the sounds. #waytronic #WT588F02B
