In our recent article for @Jerusalem_Post , with @AlexWinston89 , we examine the immense structural tragedy of ethnic-linguistic federalism in historical Ethiopia: a cautionary tale of identity politics for other ancient nations. Key takeaways from the analysis: The Architecture of Fracture: The imposition of Marxist-inspired ethnic federalism transformed neighbors into rivals overnight. It led to devastating internal conflicts, regional paramilitarism, and the 1993 secession of Eritrea: leaving Ethiopia as the world’s most populous landlocked country. This remains an existential national security crisis. A Legacy of Strategic Relocation: The article highlights Israel's historic Operation Solomon in 1991. In less than 48 hours, Israel successfully evacuated over 14,300 Ethiopian Jews, rescuing them from deteriorating security conditions. The Red Sea Geopolitical Shift & Strategic Alliance: Access to the sea is vital for Ethiopia's survival. Amid challenges from Turkey's presence in Somalia and the Muslim Brotherhood in Sudan, partnering with Israel for its battle-tested military technology becomes essential for Ethiopia. Cohesive nations must maintain a unified fabric to avoid eternal conflict and disintegration.

The regime’s judiciary is drafting a law to criminalize “insulting” the Islamic Republic’s flag. Yet the Iranian people continue to risk their lives to raise the Lion and Sun, refusing to allow this regime to erase Iran’s identity.

To the people of Israel: I stand with you in grief, remembrance and solidarity on the third anniversary of October 7. We will never forget those murdered or the suffering of their families and the survivors. The Islamic Republic that armed and supported Hamas is the same regime that keeps Iranians in chains. When Iran is free, we will hold all those involved in these crimes accountable. Both our peoples deserve freedom and security. The bond between Iranians and Jews stretches back 2,500 years to Cyrus the Great. A free Iran will be a friend and partner to Israel. Lasting peace and stability for both our peoples will only come with the fall of the Islamic Republic.

On January 8 and 9, the Islamic Republic cut off the internet, isolating Iranians from one another and from the world. Then it opened fire on unarmed protesters. In this @Jerusalem_Post video, @AlexWinston89 draws on Manoto TV’s documentary “This Is Our Story” to show how footage from inside Iran suddenly shifts from the energy of people taking to the streets to scenes of gunfire, screams, and mass killing. The internet blackout was not simply censorship. It provided cover for a massacre. youtube.com/playlist?list=PL…

It is a sadistic kind of evil. A few months ago, a heart attack stopped Alireza Sepahi's first execution. He was resuscitated and returned to prison. His own mother reportedly wished he would not wake, knowing what fate awaited him. On Sunday he married his imprisoned fiancée by phone. The Islamic Republic hanged Alireza Sepahi this morning. jpost.com/middle-east/iran-n…

“They tried to hide a massacre by shutting down the internet. Iranians answered by pressing record.” In a powerful and comprehensive piece for @Jerusalem_Post , @AlexWinston89 examines Manoto’s four-part documentary This Is Our Story, more than seven hours assembled from more than 10,000 recordings made by ordinary Iranians as the January uprising and massacre unfolded. These recordings are more than footage. They are testimony, journalism, memory and evidence of crimes against humanity, a nation documenting its own revolution while the regime tried to conceal its crimes. They were there. They recorded it. Now the world must see it. Read the full piece: jpost.com/middle-east/iran-n…

Manoto’s 'This Is Our Story' lets Iranians tell the story of January's massacres themselves. Through thousands of videos filmed on the streets as the January uprising turned bloody, Iran's citizens have become the documentarians of their own revolution. It should be seen by all. jpost.com/middle-east/iran-n…
