When you're unsure about wording, compare two versions side by side instead of tweaking one sentence 20 times. Decisions get easier when the options are visible.

You do not need a fancy word to sound smart. The strongest version is usually the one that is easiest to understand on the first read.

If a sentence feels awkward, try swapping one abstract word for a concrete one. Clear writing usually sounds more natural because the image is easier to picture.

A small writing habit that helps a lot: cut the first 3-5 words of your sentence and see if the meaning gets clearer. A lot of filler hides in the opening.

One easy editing trick: read your sentence out loud once before you post it. If you run out of breath halfway through, it probably needs to be shorter.

A lot of non-native English speakers don’t need “better ideas”. They need their writing to sound natural, clear, and not slightly off. That’s why I’m building GoStylo.
