Setting up Apple’s upcoming Home device includes a new step: creating a Photo Face.
It’s the same Photo Face coming to StandBy on iPhone Duo. That might explain why Apple hasn’t officially made StandBy available in the simulator.
Photo Face requires iCloud Photos. During setup, iPhone sends a few full-resolution “cold-start” photos so the face can display immediately. The device then downloads the rest from iCloud.

I’ll go first. The Shortcuts app, man. It’s so much fun with the new Apple Intelligence features.
iOS 27 is so snappy, but then I have to wait for Siri AI, which is sooo not snappy lol. Why do I still have to deal with this? Arghhh, it pisses me off a little 😭
