Held the kick-off meeting today for our #NHMRC Centre of Excellence in Depression Treatment Precision ('CRE Precision'). Our cross-disciplinary team strives for a future where precision in #depression treatment is the norm, not the exception. Let the journey begin!
What better way to spend a rainy Saturday than listening to @ak_poorni share great insights into normative modelling of computational parameters in depression #ComputationalPsychiatry #OHBM24

Amazing work Taylor, so very well deserved!
Very thankful for the travel award to support attendance at #ISRII12 this year and present new digital phenotyping findings on typing behaviour @TheISRII @blackdoginst @UNSW
Thrilled at the turnout at our Scientific Consensus Meeting on open science in digital phenotyping at #isrii12. Thanks to @alexfeuillet and @ChrisWebbPhD for sharing insights from their work, & the audience for such an incredible discussion @blackdoginst @wellcometrust @nhmrc

A packed house at the scientific consensus meeting for the roadmap to open science in the field of digital phenotyping at #isrii12.
@HM_Christensen calling for a shake-up in her keynote at #isrii12. We need to better understand the role of technology on the health and wellbeing of society, the way we live, work and socialise.

So proud to announce the official launch of Mello - a free, evidence-based app to help the 1.3 million young Australians struggling with mental ill-health. The app works by targeting stuck thinking (worry/rumination). Download it in Oz for free - check out mello.org.au/
We're excited to introduce Orygen Digital's newest innovation, Mello: a free app designed to address stuck thinking.
It combines practical techniques with tailored therapy activities – and a recent trial found it eased stuck thinking for 83% of users.

Excited to share our new study, which explores why people expend #effort. We use these insights to understand whether common or unique factors contribute to effort-related symptoms (eg, apathy) among individuals with #mood & #psychotic disorders 1/n. academic.oup.com/schizophren…
These findings highlight the potential for computational phenotyping in tailoring interventions. Eg, for people with certain computational phenotypes, enhancing reward/value sensitivity not be effective for effort-related symptoms. Working memory may also need to be targeted. 9/n
