Why are people somehow forgetting today that Raptor 3 was originally announced as having 280t of thrust? Like, am I going crazy or what?
Raptor 3 (sea level variant) Thrust: 280tf Specific impulse: 350s Engine mass: 1525kg Engine + vehicle-side commodities and hardware mass : 1720kg

Well that's quite an interesting revelation, it would imply it doesn't even get to the later stated 250t of thrust per engine. Either he got a typo there or... xitter.cf/elonmusk/status/211476…
We can only reliably get to around 230 t-F with Raptor 3

Big move, bigger mission! The Artemis III Space Launch System core stage moved to the transfer aisle at NASA Kennedy. Next up – teams will lift and integrate the massive 212-foot-rocket with the solid rocket boosters as we prepare for the next giant leap in lunar exploration.

So I guess two rolls tonight wasn't enough? Now that Booster 22 is off the OLM, there is ANOTHER delay tonight for it to roll back to the barn. Ship 43 is back at Production now, and Ship 42 is likely to leave soon. 🎥: nsf.live/starbase | @NASASpaceflight

Every time an astronaut on the ISS reports on their upcoming or ongoing activity I'm like okay this goes on This Week In Spaceflight. Next episode will include a mention of the upcoming spacewalk so this video is great to show the scale of the operation!
Roll out solar arrays will be installed during next week's spacewalk. You can see two of them folded and ready to be installed and you can also see how they look when they are installed (look in front of the big ones - the new ones are smaller and slightly tilted).

The team also made progress at LC-36B yesterday. Roughly 450 truckloads of concrete, lined up bumper-to-bumper and stretching nearly 3 miles up the coast, supported a 4,500-cubic-yard pour for the pile caps. Three more placements to go for a total of 15,000 cubic yards. This is the foundation for our New Glenn 9x4 pad.
