the bank of england just put rates UP to 4%
if you were waiting for cheaper mortgages, not this year

BTW tax brackets have been frozen since 2022, ~15.2% inflation in that time
I do love the our countryside though lol
This was a steep learning curve for me in early adulthood: personal finance is 90% behaviour and 10% maths.
