5-year survival for breast cancer is 98% if diagnosed at Stage 1 and 89.5% at Stage 2 (out of 4 stages). Early diagnosis through screening means treatment is less invasive and more effective.
Please take up your screening invitation; it makes a major difference to outcomes.
Thousands more breast cancers could be detected earlier in England in a major new NHS drive to support more women to attend potentially life-saving breast screening.

This sweet girl is currently in stray kennels in #EastRiding of Yorkshire and is now out of time . This means unless a rescue like us can offer her a lifeline, she will be PUT TO SLEEP very soon.
This is to make room for the never ending strays that are currently in the stray kennels due to the dire situation with dogs being abandoned in the UK at the moment. The dog warden does not want this to happen and has reached out for help.
We, of course, desperately want to help this girl.
Can anyone offer a cat free, small child free home with lots of patience and understanding whilst she is assessed and seen by our vet (vaccinated etc) and a permanent home is found?
She is said to be very quiet, gentle and friendly with people and other dogs and has tried to be clean in her kennel.
Please note that Lexi will need someone to be around all the time as she does suffer from separation anxiety so cannot be left alone.
We offer full support to our fosterers and provide food, equipment and advice where needed. Please get in touch asap if you can help save Lexi’s life. If you can’t help, please share this post far and wide. Come on guys we can help this girl and give her the love and care she so deserves. 💔💔💔
