“Don’t join the gang” these are grown men in the music industry not members of a street gang. Imagine thinking 50s personal beefs are lifetime contracts everybody else has to honor.
Name dropping
They dont when we're talking about their favourites
Never got to hear that 50 X Eminem Champions song now we're never gunna hear their collab for the Street Fighter theme song smh lol

50 Cent sold a million albums first week In 2005
then he sold 691,000k first week in 2007
SHIDDD If that’s irrelevant then Kendrick is irrelevant with his 319k first week
They’re saying that, 50 cent was not that relevant after 2005. I feel like, a lot of people forget that, 50 cent was fighting with his label when he dropped “Curtis” album, and so I think, that definitely helped on his music decline, and plus him competing with Kanye west with album sells. 50 cent “Curtis” album sold 691k first week, and debuted #2 on the billboard 200; and Kanye west “graduation” album sold 957k first week, and debuted #1 on the billboard 200; and by the way, 50 cent sells were still impressive, but he definitely lost to ye. And the other thing, people always forget, but gangster music got an expiration date; most gangster rappers won’t stay relevant for too long, so I feel like 50 cent decided to pivot after “Curtis” album, and that’s when he decided to get into movie production and other ventures.

Y’all try to downplay 50 Cent legacy in the rap game. That’s rewriting history.

In 2009, 50 Cent returned to his street roots with Before I Self Destruct, a darker follow-up to Curtis.
Released on November 16, the album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 with 160,000 first-week copies sold, giving 50 his fourth consecutive top-five album in the US. It featured Dr. Dre production, Eminem on “Psycho,” and “Baby by Me” featuring Ne-Yo. The era also included a crime film written and directed by 50 himself.
50 gave Game all those hits 😂

If 50’s contributions were that good, why didn’t The Massacre deliver the same quality front to back?
