Nobody warns vibe coders about this part.
You can ship an app in a weekend.
You can also break 6 laws in that same weekend without knowing it.
Here's what to check before you launch:
1.) Kids
If signup doesn't ask for age and a child under 13 joins, COPPA fines can reach $53K per child.
2.) Fonts
Loading Google Fonts from Google's servers sends visitor IPs to Google. A Munich court ordered a site to pay one visitor €100 for this under GDPR.
3.) Session replay
Recording what users type without consent can count as wiretapping under California's CIPA, at up to $5K per violation.
4.) Launch emails
No unsubscribe link or postal address breaks CAN-SPAM, at up to $53K per email.
5.) Subscriptions
If renewal terms aren't right next to the button, California can treat renewals as unconditional gifts you have to refund.
6.) User uploads
Without a registered DMCA agent, which costs $6, you lose safe harbor. Statutory damages can reach $150K per willfully infringed work.
None of these cost much to fix.
All of them cost a lot to ignore.
Paste this into Claude before launch:
"Check my app for: missing age gate, externally loaded fonts, session replay without consent, marketing emails without unsubscribe and address, renewal terms not beside the subscribe button and no DMCA agent. Fix what you can and list what I need to do myself."
Not legal advice. Talk to a lawyer for your situation.

BREAKING: Don't copy and paste answers from CLAUDE.
Claude writing is easily detectable.
Here's a secret hack to humanize your text:
All Out Of Options retweeted
Your AI built the app.
It didn't build the boring pages that keep you out of trouble.
Before you launch, make sure you have:
• A privacy policy that names every tool collecting user data (analytics, payments, email, session replay)
• Terms of service that limit your liability
• A cookie banner if you have visitors from the EU or UK
• A way for users to delete their account and data
• A refund policy written next to the checkout not hidden in the footer
• A real contact address for legal and privacy requests
• A list of every API key in your code and none of them visible in the frontend
Most of these take an afternoon.
Skipping them can cost you your Stripe account, your app store listing or a lawsuit.
Paste this into Claude:
"List every third-party service my app uses and what data it collects. Then draft a privacy policy, terms of service and refund policy based on that list, add a delete-my-account flow and flag any API keys exposed in the frontend."
Ship fast. Just don't ship naked.
Not legal advice. Have a lawyer review anything that matters.

Epic Games released an official plugin that lets Claude Code control Unreal Engine directly.
It connects Claude Code to the Unreal Editor and exposes hundreds of editor tools across 30+ toolsets:
→ Actors, Blueprints and materials
→ Niagara effects, Control Rigs and Sequencer
→ State Trees, widgets and the Gameplay Ability System
→ Automation testing
Install it from Anthropic's official plugin marketplace:

SOMEONE JUST KILLED THE ENTIRE 3D PIPELINE.
Someone just dropped a GitHub repo that takes any photo and turns it into a fully explorable 3D world. Meshes with physics. Background splat. Ambient audio. Everything.
One image goes in.
A complete world comes out. Five minutes.
People who have spent ten years learning Blender have spent the day staring at this in silence.
It is called image-blaster.

ENJOY THE LONG WEEKEND.
GO SOCCER!!!!!
Some of you know that I launched a hedge fund several months ago (early November).
We run a long/short strategy, focused on owning the 20-40 growth stocks that we believe have the most upside over the next 2-3 years... this means they need to have great fundamentals, strong management teams, compelling valuations, and multiple catalysts that we can identify and track accordingly.
It's been a rough few months for many growth investors (we also took some pain)... thankfully we were averaging down into our core positions but we've still seen some red months and it has not been enjoyable. I'm not a fan of losing money.
Stepping back... I've never had more conviction in my process or my portfolio than I do right now... especially with some of my favorite stocks down 20-40% from their September/October/November highs despite strong Q4 earnings reports, strong CY2026 guidance and extremely compelling valuations.
With that said, here are our top 10 positions in alphabetical order:
$APP
$CPNG
$CRDO
$HIMS
$HROW
$SKHYNIX
$IREN
$NBIS
$RDDT
$TMDX
I believe all of these stocks are trading at meaningfully higher prices in 2-3 years which remains my focus for generating outsized long-term returns.
Enjoy the rest of your day 😊
