In Art, Oaks have been studying Yayoi Kusama. We took inspiration from her mushroom art and have started to create our own pieces. We focused on trying to create optical illusions with our dots today using POSCA paint pens. The children were so careful and precise!

A fantastic day at Pipers Vale as the whole school developed their gymnastics skills, challenged themselves and showed great determination throughout.

What a fantastic day at Aldeburgh Yacht Club! Pupils enjoyed sailing in the morning and rowing in the afternoon, developing teamwork, resilience and confidence on the water.

We’re proud to show the artwork created by some of our pupils, inspired by David Attenborough’s 100th birthday. Display panels were funded by Benhall & Sternfield Parish Council. A huge thank you to Derek Chambers for selecting the artwork and managing the installation.

What a fantastic afternoon Oaks had with Cimone from the Leiston Education Partnetship. We experimented with making indicators out of cabbage and tested substances. Also, we created our own lava lamps using oil, water, food dye and a vitamin C tablet.

KS1 and KS2 have been on the move this week, completing 2.6 miles to raise money for our chosen charity, You Are Not Alone. A fantastic effort from everyone involved!

Oaks had a brilliant day at the School Farm & Country Fair! We met amazing animals, tried local produce, saw sheep shearing, planted peas and even brought back three trees. The children loved it- huge thanks to our parent volunteers for their support!
