NEW blog post! To go with my new camera.

We are going to Japan in October/November. If anyone has any recommendations for Tokyo or Kyoto please send them my way. We like:
Museums, artisan shops, shrines, gardens, cemeteries, photography, architecture, food.
All art is political and pretending it isn't means going down a dangerous route.
APNews: Arts Council England (@ace_national) has updated its policies, warning that "political statements" made by individuals linked to an organisation can cause "reputational risk", breaching funding agreements (1/5)
I never feel able to take on projects like this (exactly because of my disability and the invisible limitations I live with) but maybe you or someone you know would be the perfect fit this!
📸 @CathyWaller are looking for a photographer who identifies as D/deaf, Disabled, Neurodivergent and/or living with a long term condition to work with them on their latest project "Us".
Closing - 24 Jan

Absolutely appalled by IKEA and @IKEAUKSupport 's response to me as a disabled person having a delivery issue with DPD, who were meant to deliver an order to my door but didn't.

Artists, I'm tired of pretending like I (we,you) don't have a day job, or that having one in any way makes you less of a real artist in some way. I'm proud to be blue collar. I don't think we should hide it if we are.
Some things are not working for me yet, so bear with while I try to get some photos added to my profile.
Wasn't sure if I had caught anything worthwhile with the camera while I was in Paris but looking through some of the photos this morning, I might have more than I first thought.
On the final leg of my journey after a delayed Eurostar train saw me running for my connection and suddenly feeling very much not-okay about having left Paris behind.
I had lunch in this garden in Montmartre with my mum on our last day of holiday together. What an amazing week we've had.

Really I want 4 but I know it would stress me out changing between them.
