…Under the HEROS act. Which Biden used on purpose, knowing it would be struck down, even as many legal scholars suggested this was path was doomed to start.
“[The HEA] authorizes the Secretary to cancel or reduce loans, but only in *certain limited circumstances and to a particular extent*” Roberts then lists the *only* 4 conditions on which they recognize that the Secretary can cancel or reduce loans!

Fiorello Raffaele Enrico La Guardia, NY’s greatest Mayor, was called a radical and a socialist by his rivals. Indeed, he won an election to Congress on the Socialist line. His response to attacks: “If fighting against existing evils is radical, I am content with the name.” He was accused of anti-semitism by an opponent - and promptly offered to conduct a mayoral debate entirely in Yiddish, one of five languages he spoke. He talked directly to the people - indeed, his radio show “Talk to the People” was the Tik-Tok of its day. Many of the works that define the modern physical infrastructure of NY were built during his terms, and ironically have provided billions in contracts to today’s real estate and finance interests - who make the same criticisms of @ZohranKMamdani as their earlier counterparts. Born with a foreign sounding name of immigrant parents (there’s a Broadway show tune in which he’s depicted spelling out his name as he campaigns for Mayor), anyone who appreciates the city’s history can discern the outline of LaGuardia’s footsteps alongside the path that ZM walks today.

This Chinese citizen says it isn’t China’s fault that they got rich. Hard to disagree with his statement. “Americans, you don’t need a tariff, you need a revolution. For decades your government and oligarchs ship your job to China, not for diplomacy, not for peace, but to exploit cheap labor & in the process they hollow out your middle class, crash your working class and told you to be proud while they sold your future for profit……What did your oligarchs do? They bought yachts, private jets, mansions with golf course driveways, manipulate the market, dodge taxes and pour billions into endless wars. What did you get?….. flag to wave probably made in China while they pick your pocket for 40 years.” I agree with everything he says. I don’t blame China, I blame our corrupt Government for allowing it to happen, for designing it to happen, so they could get rich. President Trump is throwing a wrench into their plans. He’s saving our country. I hope it isn’t too late.

We’re so screwed. Democrats are going to spend the next 4 yrs talking about January 6, Nazis, and Trump golfing… they’re not going to do a bit of self reflection.
On vacay five days after being sworn in. Not just the worst and most corrupt president in history but also the laziest.

🇲🇽🇺🇸 Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum questions U.S. drug policy: “What happens on the other side of the border? How is fentanyl sold in the U.S.? … … ARE THERE NO CARTELS OVER THERE? What happens to the financial resources from the sale of fentanyl?”

(Disclaimer: I studied at Columbia University) In this moving video, many students - Jews, Arabs, and others - hold a joint Passover Seder, a Feast of Liberty for all, calling for an end to the war and the occupation. This wonderful event happens at no place other than Columbia University, which in recent days has been libelled in the Israeli media as the stronghold of campus antisemitism in the U.S. This is the definitive proof that opposition to successive Israeli governments' abominable policies towards the Palestinians is not antisemitism, and that when there is no proper argument against the protesters, opponents resort to slander and lies. Unmistakably, there also exist critics of Israel who are blatantly antisemitic, lying, or ignorant, who must be forcefully resisted. But this is not the case. My thanks and blessings to the protesters against the massacre in Gaza who support peace and justice for all.

Mohammad Alizadeh isn't the first person to call Jews "sexual predators." It's an old antisemitic trope. Meanwhile, as of October 2021, Alizadeh was busy posting pornographic videos on Onlyfans.com under the alias “solidsnake.” READ MORE: canarymission.org/individual…

Appalling videos from Makhachkala, Russia, where an angry mob broke into the airport searching for Israeli citizens on the flight from Tel-Aviv. This is not an isolated incident in Makhachkala, but rather part of Russia’s widespread culture of hatred toward other nations, which is propagated by state television, pundits, and authorities. The Russian foreign minister has made a series of antisemitic remarks in the last year. The Russian President also used antisemitic slurs. For Russian propaganda talking heads on official television, hate rhetoric is routine. Even the most recent Middle East escalation prompted antisemitic statements from Russian ideologists. Russian antisemitism and hatred toward other nations are systemic and deeply rooted. Hatred is what drives aggression and terror. We must all work together to oppose hatred.

I wish I could share move videos. But the internet is still down and our sat connections are struggling. Another important point: we have seen no aid distribution. Nothing. We’ve seen military here and lots of electricity crews. But people here need basics: food and water.
We’ve spent the day in Acapulco and the devastation is breathtaking. Almost all the high rises are heavily damaged. But the most heartbreaking part is all the regular people who have lost what they have worked decades for. This is what one neighborhood looks like. 1/

🇵🇸🇮🇱🇺🇸The right side of history is the side of human rights. It’s the side of refusing to dehumanize an entire group of people believing that if you mix with them and give them equality it’s somehow putting your life at risk. I fought this mentality during the pandemic when many believed mixing with “the unvaccinated” would kill their grandmothers. As a mixed race person, I would have fought this in the 60’s when the idea of desegregation with people like me would bring about the end of civil society. I fight this now when I hear vitriol hatred spewed by people who think giving people humanity and dignity and mixing with them would be the end. The reality is, thinking of “we can’t mix” is the single most dangerous ideology known to man. You are on the wrong side of history every 👏🏼single 👏🏼 time 👏🏼 if you genuinely hold onto this thinking.
