Make time rather than waiting for it. In his YouTube video “Make Time To Make Comics,” he explains that with a full-time job, family, and ministry, free blocks of time rarely appear. He schedules focused hours each night (not all night or to burnout), eliminates distractions during those windows, sets concrete page/panel goals instead of vague ones, and works backward from realistic release dates (including buffer time for life). This issue is overall impressive! It's a great IP that James has carefully developed over eight issues. The writing and art are professional quality for sure. Don't overlook the colors! Colorist Federico Pepito Sioc Jr. is outstanding! Throughout the book the colors are working with the line art adding depth and atmosphere to every panel. It's perfectly demonstrated in the bottom panel on the left page here. The light in shadows on Professor Polar really communicates the moment to the reader. The colors really bring it all together impressively. 🧵
