FungoLabs Genesis consists of 3,232 NFTs, with minting scheduled for November 5, 2026.
Here’s how the collection is distributed:
500 NFTs: Free mints for approved whitelist holders (gas fees only).
2,500 NFTs: Public sealed-bid auction.
232 NFTs: Reserved for the team.
The public auction uses cZAMA, the confidential version of the ZAMA token.
Participants choose both their bid price and the quantity of NFTs they want. While the auction is active, bid amounts and quantities remain encrypted.
How does the auction work?
1.Participants submit encrypted bids.
2.Once the auction closes, bids are ranked.
3.The lowest winning bid determines the clearing price.
4.Every successful bidder pays the same clearing price.
5.Anyone who bids above the clearing price receives the difference back.
6.Anyone who bids below the winning threshold receives a full refund.
If fewer than 2,500 NFTs are sold, successful bidders simply pay the lowest winning bid price.
The result is a sealed-bid auction where participants can compete without exposing their bidding strategies.

One important question about NFTs is: Who decides which traits or artwork you receive?
With @FungoLabs Genesis, nobody gets to choose the outcome. Not even the team.
Every NFT is generated using Zama’s on-chain FHE randomness.
Here’s how the process works:
When an NFT is minted, the smart contract generates two separate random values:
One determines the Look (artwork).
The other determines the Essence (hidden attributes).
Both values are encrypted immediately when they are created.
This means:
• No metadata server is required.
There is no pre-reveal list.
• Buyers cannot influence their NFT’s outcome.
• The team cannot select or manipulate individual traits.
• Nobody can access the encrypted Essence except its current holder.
The Essence is stored as a single encrypted 64-bit value encoding the NFT’s class, four stats, and element.
Only the current holder can decrypt and view their result.
This approach removes the need to trust a team or a centralized system to generate fair NFT outcomes.
And this is not limited to Genesis.
The same encryption technology will power future collections launched through the FungoLabs Launchpad.
