The entire point of making Clayface a small Budget flick is cos the studio recognize the character is not marketable hence the small budget anyone trying to spin it as a failure is just coping.

I really enjoyed CLAYFACE, one of the more unique comic-book films I’ve seen in a while. This is a refreshing, taut, very fun revenge thriller that feels like it could’ve been released in the 90’s. While not perfect and clearly missing some skin, CLAYFACE is the best DCU film.
