Yes total cliche is they go for the safe bet. It will be a short Bond season

His edginess makes him ideal. Bond is always the outsider

So hope so! Imagine with young Bond can have a parallel like Moriarty/Spectre who could shadow Bond and create mayhem.
Bond. Josh as the B, Henry Cavill as M (The Ministry of the Ungentlemen …) and maybe Marisa Abela - edgy great actor - think Amy Winehouse - as moneypenny.

He’s been in some brilliant films recently. If though we’re going for a pre-Bond type, he’d be even better as M. The real boss and the one Bond works for.

I so hope so. Can act, doesn’t give a toss. Total Bond.

He looks like he doesn’t care, which is EXACTLY how Bond should look. This could be brilliant

Agreed. Just when they were others who would have been fab.

Nuanced; that diffident ability of slight menace makes Josh a great Bond.

Surely the production team should be aware of stress and spotted that. Bit of a mess.

I thought it was just me having the cheese fondue in the summer alps. Turned around and all the other guests were also ordering. It’s wonderful any time of year

Yes but I don’t see the light and dark acting qualities of others, like Josh O’Connor. Maybe Bond will bring it out with a good director

Such a great actor - cold or light, he’s definitely like Craig when he was first cast and everyone was “what!”.

I spent a 10 hour flight on the first 6 episodes and definitely can say liked. Worth watching for Gary Oldman’s comedic moments alone 💨. Real.
Replying to @CinemaTweets1
Definitely. Has that slight humour in the eye like Daniel Craig that the others lack
