so now that the midterms are finally out of the way, can we please get back to the part where crypto stops caring about politics and just starts printing green candles again? think we've endured enough at this point. we deserve the pump 🀝

An orange conman yells "51st state" and all of a sudden you have a movement. Crazy. What makes it a textbook con is that not a single recent elected MLA campaigned on or was voted into office on a separation platform. Yet, in less than 12 months, this massive question has been pushed right in front of the general populace and people in line are pissed. It is an undemocratic grift, proving that a googled slogan and an online echo chamber have you ready to throw away Alberta's golden era for an American-style political scam. This isn't autonomyβ€”it's a U.S.-orchestrated land and resource grab. Washington special interests are pulling the strings, and everyday Albertans won't see a dime of equity. The "new Alberta" isn't handing out shares or equity to its citizens, so how exactly are you supposed to prosper? It’s a masterclass in social media manipulation hijacking real-world policy. Wake up and look at the actual facts: β€’ Highest Pay in Canada: Alberta workers earn the highest average weekly earnings in the country. Our public sector workers, like teachers and nurses, are among the highest-paid in the entire nation. β€’ World-Class Social Programs: We have universal healthcare and social safety nets that don’t even exist south of the border. Becoming the 51st state means flushing those protections away for American-style medical debt. β€’ Record Production & Fast-Tracking: With 447,000 km of pipelines, Alberta's energy sector just shattered its all-time crude oil production records. β€’ The Calgary Major Projects Office: Headquartered right here in Calgary, the federal Major Projects Office is clearing regulatory roadblocks for a pipeline of $500 billion in massive capital commitmentsβ€”including the newly greenlit Pacific Link pipeline to get 1 million barrels of Alberta oil a day to global markets. β€’ Alberta receives back 65% of federal funding and grants. keep in mind we don’t even pay PST. You are being conned by an oligarch’s lawyer dangling a carrot. Separation does not equal prosperity. If we break away, will Alberta even look like a democracy anymore? A true democracy is founded on the Magna Carta, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and fundamental human rightsβ€”not a hyper-partisan echo chamber. Immigration is what keeping Canada economically viable. This global economy is drawing the same immigrants and provincial immigration throughout the decades. Global capital completely despises instability. The moment you introduce a volatile, drawn-out legal and political environment, billions in investment will flee overnight. Real wealth isn't a white paper promising a fantasy. It’s the jobs, stability, public services, and tested constitutional frameworks we already have. Stop letting social media blind you to reality. That con man was also the original trucker convoy lawyer with JCCF before Keith Wilson took over, another con man. And they tried paying themselves with donations Scamara raised for the truckers that never saw a penny of money that went to her bank accounts. And they are all still scamming today with their snake oil shows.

The calf was born last night. The bear showed up this morning... Our donkey went at it before the cow even knew it was there. Braying, rearing, kicking. The bear went back into the woods and the calf stood up for the first time right after.

Sharing my 1/1 work again
Sharing my 1/1 work again Playa Carrillo, Costa Rica Why Playa Carrillo? 🌊 I’ve always been drawn to places that seem to have their own rhythm. Playa Carrillo is one of them. A quiet beach on Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, where the landscape feels almost untouched by the urgency of the world around it. 🧡

It always feels challenging to be seen in this space... just a few of the UnknownArtists to take a look at. 1: @AlpineLifer 2: @PelinGenc_ 3: @MattWalch4 4: @JamesAfineart
If we want this moment in digital art to matter decades from now, we need more people looking sideways than upward. It’s easy to admire the artists everyone already knows. It’s harder, and often far more meaningful, to notice the artist not many people know but whose work won’t leave your mind. Why? Because that’s where our individual actions have the greatest impact. You don’t have to change the entire ecosystem. You just have to meaningfully change one artist’s day, week, month, or year with your actions. Strong art scenes aren’t built by everyone chasing the same handful of names. We see how demotivating that is. They’re built by the people choosing to champion the artists they genuinely believe in before everyone else does. We often say the same names get all the attention. But when was the last time you shared an artist’s work that wasn’t your own? When was the last time you wrote a post about an artist you love with no expectation of getting anything back? If each of us did that just once a week, imagine how different the timeline and sentiment would be. In the end this is the biggest strength of our space still to this day with all its flaws, to give artists a chance that wouldn’t have gotten it anywhere else.
