Twenty years ago, American Integrity began with a vision to build something different. What started as a vision to address a lack of insurance solutions in Florida has grown into a regional property insurance company serving 460,000+ customers in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, in addition to the Sunshine State. It’s a company shaped by the people who believed in that vision, the relationships we've built and the challenges we've faced together. As we approach our 20th anniversary, we're celebrating more than a milestone. We're celebrating the employees, independent agents, policyholders and partners who have been part of our story since 2006. And a story 20 years in the making deserves more than a single day of celebration. Over the coming months, we'll be sharing the voices, memories and experiences of those who helped build American Integrity into the company it is today. 20 years of relationships. 20 years of growth. 20 years of Strength from Integrity®. To everyone who has been part of our journey, thank you for trusting American Integrity. We have so much to celebrate, and so much more ahead of us. Here's to 20 years, and the next chapter we're building together.

Some lessons stick with you long after the training ends. During @Maxwell_Leaders Training Day, Inside Sales Specialist Sam Proctor asked @TheJohnCMaxwell what advice he would give someone early in their career who wants to become a strong leader. His response was simple: commit to growing every day, build on your strengths and look for opportunities to add value to others. Months later, that message still resonates with our team. The day may be behind us, but the lessons continue to shape how we approach leadership, personal growth and the way we support one another at American Integrity.

Josephine has come and gone, adding to our already unusual chapter in the Atlantic basin. American Integrity meteorologist Natalie Ferrari tells us that the system began as a non-tropical area of low pressure before briefly developing into Subtropical Storm Josephine. It then transitioned into a powerful extratropical cyclone as it moved northeastward over the North Atlantic. While Josephine is now dissipated, it’s a good reminder that tropical systems can evolve and bring impacts even after losing their tropical characteristics. As we head toward the end of October, there’s no tropical cyclone formation expected across the Atlantic basin over the next seven days. Looking farther out, @NOAA’s Global Tropics Hazards Outlook highlights the potential for tropical development in the western Atlantic, along a frontal boundary near the southeastern U.S. coast, as we head into early November. It’s a long-range signal, not a forecast for a specific storm, but it’s an area worth monitoring as hurricane season continues. Hurricane season continues through November 30, so the season isn’t over just yet. For now, we’ll keep monitoring the pattern and watching for any changes as we move toward November.

Strong partnerships are built by staying connected, listening and finding ways to move forward together. We recently welcomed Scott Rose and Trevor Honohan from FBC Home Insurance Services to our new headquarters for time with American Integrity leadership. The conversation focused on their business, opportunities ahead and how we can continue being a valuable resource for their team, agents and policyholders. We appreciate Scott and Trevor taking the time to visit and share their perspective. These conversations help us better understand what our partners need and how we can continue supporting their success.

For Kerry Nafzger, Vice President of National Accounts at American Integrity, strong national account relationships are built on trust, reliability and consistency. As part of our Thought Leadership series, Kerry shares how she works closely with our national partners and understands that competitive products are only part of the equation. Financial stability, consistent underwriting support, direct access to leadership and a team that follows through all play a role in earning and maintaining those relationships. At American Integrity, we're committed to understanding each partner's business and providing the personalized support they need to succeed. Because when our partners have confidence in their carrier, they're better equipped to serve the homeowners who rely on them.

Hearing from our policyholders helps us stay accountable to the people who trust American Integrity to protect their homes. And when we receive feedback like this recent Google review from a policyholder, it's encouraging to know we're headed in the right direction! Zoraida highlighted the attentive, responsive service she received from Claims Adjuster Thomas Malfetonne, who remained accessible and communicative throughout her claim. It's exactly the level of service we strive to provide every policyholder who puts their trust in us. We're proud of Thomas and the care our Claims Team provides every day. Thank you, Zoraida, for taking the time to share your experience and for trusting American Integrity!

We had the pleasure of hosting Jason Wray and Jim Martin from the Ivantage Brokerage team for a visit and conversation with American Integrity leadership. We took time to discuss their business, opportunities for growth and how we can continue supporting their agents and policyholders. One of the things we value about our agency relationships is the ability to sit down together, exchange ideas and have open conversations about what our partners need from us. It was wonderful having the Ivantage team in our new space, and we appreciate the time they spent with us.

From conversations about new opportunities in South Carolina to checking in with agency partners in the Panhandle following Hurricane Isaias, our team has been covering some ground! Georgia TSM Clay Jones and VP of Sales Matt VanVelsen connected with Gary Miller at Goosehead Insurance and Brad, Kristie, Roxanne and Gwenivere with 413 Insurance Services in Flowery Branch, GA. In South Carolina, Clay and Regional Sales Manager Will Hewlett spent time with COO Jay Herndon of Assure Alliance and Vice President Dawn Broadway of Resource Insurance Associates, continuing conversations about opportunities in the growing market. And while our team was in the Florida Panhandle assisting with Hurricane Isaias recovery efforts, VP of Claims Trevor McDonald and Adjuster Diana Ash made time to visit Wadih El Khoury and Gerry Miles at Florida Insurance Agency. Different markets, different conversations, but one thing remains the same: our best work happens when we're working alongside dedicated and committed agents.

When American Integrity policyholder Patricia Jones stood outside watching her home burn, she wasn't just watching a house go up in flames. The fire was also threatening the business she and her husband had built on their property. “We saw our home. We saw our business. We saw our dreams and our mission going up in flames.” In the days that followed, Patricia found support in the adjusters guiding her through the claims process, starting with Grissel Jackson, her first point of contact. Knowing she had people she could trust by her side allowed Patricia to focus on keeping their business moving forward while beginning to rebuild. What stayed with her most was the feeling that, during one of the most difficult moments of her life, someone had her back. For Patricia and her husband, that support made a difficult road forward feel a little less overwhelming and reinforced what it means to have the right people in your corner when you need them.

Our commitment to South Carolina goes beyond expanding our footprint. It's about giving independent agents more opportunities to serve homeowners, backed by strong products, financial stability and a team they can count on. For Dawn Broadway, Vice President of Resource Insurance Associates in Columbia, South Carolina, that support has made a difference. From expanded underwriting guidelines that create more opportunities for well-maintained homes to direct access to Territory Sales Manager Will Hewlett and dedicated Underwriter Gina Porter, Dawn shares how our partnership has helped her agency grow. We're proud to continue strengthening our presence in South Carolina and supporting the agents and homeowners who call it home.

A disturbance in the western Atlantic could bring some changes to the forecast this week, but not all of them are bad news! While the system has the potential to develop into a subtropical cyclone, it's expected to remain offshore, bringing the possibility of gusty winds, coastal flooding and dangerous surf along portions of the East Coast. For Florida and much of the Southeast, the same system could help usher in cooler temperatures, drier air and some beautiful fall weather. Our Emmy Award-winning meteorologist Natalie Ferrari breaks down what we're watching in the Atlantic and what it means for the week ahead in her latest forecast.

The Atlantic basin remains quiet, with little indication of tropical development in the days ahead. According to American Integrity in-house Meteorologist Natalie Ferrari, the Atlantic, Caribbean and Gulf are all quiet from a tropical development standpoint, with the National Hurricane Center forecasting no tropical cyclone formation over the next seven days. Looking farther out, long-range model guidance also shows no clear signal for tropical development at this time. Of course, forecasts can change, especially this time of year, so continued monitoring remains important. Hurricane season runs through November 30, but for now, the Atlantic basin is giving us a bit of a breather.

We've been in Tallahassee connecting with the next generation of talent at the Florida State University Career Fair! Suncoast Territory Sales Manager Josh Phillips, Talent Acquisition Manager Jordan Wallace, SHRM-CP Wallace, and HR Generalist Madeline Ringewald, SHRM-CP Ringewald represented American Integrity, meeting with students, sharing insights into our company, and exploring opportunities for future Seminoles to build their careers with us. We love seeing the ambition and enthusiasm students bring to conversations about their futures, and we're excited to introduce them to the people, culture, and opportunities that make American Integrity a great place to grow. Thank you, FSU, for having us! Go Noles!

Recovering from Hurricane Isaias is challenging enough without the added concern of contractor fraud. If you've encountered suspicious activity while arranging repairs to your home, knowing where to report it can help protect you and other homeowners. Here's what to do if you suspect fraud: 1. Document the activity by saving contracts, estimates, receipts, messages and any other records related to the contractor. 2. Report suspected insurance fraud by contacting the Florida Department of Financial Services at 1-800-378-0445 or filing a report online at First.FLDFS.com. 3. Report unlicensed contractors by contacting the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation at MyFloridaLicense.com or 866-532-1440. 4. If the suspicious activity involves your American Integrity claim, call our Claims Team at 866-277-9871 so we can review your concerns. You don't need to determine whether fraud has occurred before reporting suspicious activity. The appropriate authorities can review the information and investigate. As you work toward recovery, please know that your insurance company and adjuster are there to help you protect your home and navigate the claims process.
