The murder of a child is a pain no parent should have to endure, let alone from thousands of miles away.
Javits Frimpong’s mother deserves to say goodbye to her son in person. I just got off the phone with President Trump and he has agreed to grant her visa immediately.
All of New York City is mourning this tragedy.

We don’t talk enough about the blessings of an ordinary day, no emergencies, no devastating calls, no chaos. Just Peace.

Mainstream media fails to honour the humanity of those who grieve by asking them to respond to questions so soon after they have lost a loved one.
It is particularly prevalent when Black families experience tragedy.
Our emotional dignity is rarely protected or honoured.
The level of vitriol is truly frightening and so very distressing. No one should have to suffer this level of abuse - ever! Don’t ever tell me racism isn’t real - just don’t!!
⚠️ One of my worst Blocks of the Month. #ButlerBlocks
Hateful racism, abuse and threats sent to me - just for speaking about Black History Month & blocking people.
Please help me call it out! Thank you for the support. ✊🏾

My PhD research relates to a sensitive topic which thankfully few headteachers have had to deal with. Those who have & are able to share their experience will be contributing to a neglected area of research - headteacher emotions following a critical incident. Pls DM for details.
This whole funded, not funded pay rise nonsense has got me riled. My latest Headteachers Gym video explains why.

The Spectator is on a campaign to kill a rare tiger because a man died after *he* jumped into the tiger enclosure.
The real story is that Oxford lecturer, Dr Lola Salem has been charged with possessing child abuse images. Her ex-partner is The Spectator editor Michael Gove.
🧵 1/ Not every emotion needs pathologising.
It’s okay to feel sad. It’s normal to grieve. Situations may make you feel disappointed, worried or scared; it doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with you, it doesn’t mean you need medication.
3/ If you wash your hands once when you get home after travelling on London Transport, or like to put your books on your shelves so they are colour coded, it does not mean you have OCD. Social media has popularised medical terms, without fully understanding what lies behind them.
