🎬 Accrington and Hyndburn are taking centre stage alongside Julie Hesmondhalgh in a brand-new national short film! 📚❤️
Our very own Julie has been out and about filming across the borough for the National Year of Reading, encouraging everyone to #GoAllIn! 🙌
📍 From Accrington Carnegie Library to Kahaani Indian Brasserie, Oswaldtwistle Mills, Hyndburn Leisure Centre, York St Chippy, The Crown, Ian Henderson Hair Studio and Peel Park – Julie even hopped aboard a Pilkington Bus on the 888 to Huncoat! 🚌
Produced by @ScottDawsonAd, the short film sees Julie use poetry to explore the many ways reading touches our lives, often without us even thinking about it.
The poem was written by Julie for a National Year of Reading event in Salford 📚
🎥 Launching nationally at 5pm on Thursday 15th October!
