I don't always run Epitalon. But when I do, it's 5 mg. For 20 days. Three times a year. Stay interesting, my friends.

My optometrist lied when he said my glasses would “smudge resistant” if I upgraded. 🤓

Today was one of those workouts where I wanted to quit and no one was around to notice. Then I remembered @katieiswell showing off her guns and thought… I have to finish. My arms are watching me not quit on what they can be. 🤣

Quick update on my friend~ she’s got little kids and teens, was getting sick all the time, and has been in the thick of menopause while coming off birth control. She’d tell me how rough she felt pretty much every day. We’re 10 days into her protocol and for the last 4 days she’s been messaging me how good she feels. Like, actually good. SS-31, TA1, and GLP-2. 💪

Starting my 3rd cycle of SS-31, this time planning a longer run (around 3 months) instead of the shorter cycles I’ve done before. Thank you to LifeIgnite Research. 100 mg vials. Certificate shows verified testing 99.81% purity. Curious how others have approached longer SS-31 cycles and what markers (if any) they track. Not medical advice, just sharing the experiment.

Looking for a video of this lecture if we can find one.
When the inventor of SS-31 talks, we should listen!

I guess we can pay for it eventually 🙄

Why no video yet The conference is still underway. The World Mitochondria Society typically records talks and later offers paid on-demand / replay access (they have done this for prior years such as 2023, 2022, and 2021). These are usually not free or instantly public. Check the official site for updates on recordings or abstracts: Main site / agenda: wms-site.com or the Targeting Mitochondria pages

SS31/Elamipretiden Recent Preclinical Work (2026) Spinal cord injury (mouse model): Improved locomotor recovery and gait, reduced lesion pathology, and effects on apoptosis and neural remodeling markers. Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF rat model): Improved skeletal muscle contractile function, reduced atrophy, and changes in titin phosphorylation and mitochondrial measures. Post-cardiac arrest brain injury and other injury models have also shown mitochondrial-protective signals. Ongoing Study, The SHAPE study (led by David Marcinek at the University of Washington with Mighty Therapeutics) is an open label pilot of elamipretide in older adults and part of the XPRIZE Healthspan competition. The team won a $1 million Milestone 2 award based on “encouraging” functional trends, though public effect size details are limited. The data are informing a larger placebo-controlled trial in older adults planned through ~2029.

After lifting I feel wrecked. After a run my legs are kinda numb but I’m wide awake and full of energy. That post run buzz is addictive. 🏃‍♀️

Family member is wrapping up her 3rd month on tirz. She doesnt weigh herself. She judges by the way her clothes fit and how she feels. She sent a pic and said, "I feel great and physically can move around more without becoming winded." She looks good. I can see another success story in the making.
