As our summers get warmer some of our people have asked for shorts to be provided as part of our uniform. I’m pleased to say that #TeamWAST will soon be able to access shorts for use at work in the summer months to make working in the hot weather more comfortable.

Ex Tyne and Wear Dennis SS B434GRG was moved out of the shed for the first time in 2 years yesterday. Despite being a bit smokey due to standing and the fact it had no exhaust on it generally sounded fit and well, and was good to hear the roar of the 10.5 V8 perkins 640 engine!

With the cold temperatures now upon us, its important to remember to take your Defibrillator and any electrical equipment out the vehicle when your not using it. Its not worth the flat battery or failed self test when you need it in an emergency.
