Making sure our new starters with no English have a voice and are welcomed by having some survival phrases in their #homelanguages along with visuals to help them express their needs and feelings in the classroom. #alllanguagesmatter #multilingual #eal #esl #translanguaging

Welcome to ESM! This is our yearly tradition. Our students came in to this yesterday morning. The students looked on with joy, wonder and excitement. We all wish you a blessed Advent season.
On Dec 6 Students are sharing land acknowledgements they created to foster an ethical space within their journey of weaving indigenous ways of knowing into their teaching practice. They are also sharing insights on how the disciplines live in the world through visual essays.

Some of our Ambrose faculty and students had the opportunity to practice Equine Assisted Learning, guided by Sonya Dodginghorse and her horses, and about racism and Reconciliation from Brent Dodginghorse. Thank you for the incredible learning experience! 🧡
