Congratulations to longtime BA member @Ripple and CEO @bgarlinghouse on final OCC approval for Ripple National Trust Bank!
A milestone for bringing digital asset innovation into the U.S. banking system and advancing American leadership.
Big news heading into @RippleSwell: the @USOCC has granted final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank.
This gives Ripple a federally supervised platform to support $RLUSD and provide digital asset custody to enterprises.
We’ve always said crypto and banks work better together — this is what that looks like. Real innovation, real accountability, federal oversight.
The revolution isn't happening outside the system. It's happening from within it.
‼️RARE CLIP: MATTHEW MELLON EXPLAINS HOW XRP SAVED HIM DURING A BANKING CRISIS IN 2015‼️
Few people have seen this clip.😶🌫️
Matthew Mellon was a Mellon banking heir, fresh off the cover of Forbes, and Ripple Labs’ global ambassador.
In July 2015, he was in Greece with his family as banks shut down, ATMs ran out of euros, and cards were refused.🚫
XRP was the only currency that worked for him.✅
“Thanks to XRP, Ripple Labs, I was able to pay my restaurant, my taxi, and my hotel bill.”🧾
“When you have a mobile wallet, you control your own money. You don’t need a bank.”💳
The host asked if this is what the world looks like when banks turn insolvent.
His answer: “Exactly. Absolutely.”🎯
A Ripple representative said this on live television over a decade ago.⏳
In the event of a banking crisis, XRP will prove to be one of the most valuable financial instruments available.🔒

as a man, you can grind for years with nothing to show.
family thinks you're crazy.
you'll lose your friends.
then one year everything explodes.
keep going, it's just a matter of time.

🪙 We’re excited to announce that we’re partnering with @Ripple to expand our stablecoin optionality and integrate RLUSD into our banking core infrastructure, with support for transactions on the XRP Ledger.
Together, we’re combining traditional payment technology with RLUSD on the XRPL, giving issuers and acquirers greater flexibility to settle intraday and reduce settlement latency. By bringing stablecoins’ programmability and near-instant settlement into the same environment as traditional rails, we’re creating a unified payments experience where businesses can leverage the strengths of both.
We’re proud to enable faster payment capabilities and give our partners greater choice and flexibility.

I’ll say this as someone who was on the ground that day, and I have the paperwork to back up what I’m saying. I was a medic.
On November 5, 2009, this man walked into the SRP site 'the old Officers’ Club on Fort Hood, and opened fire on unarmed people. They were not in a firefight. They were not on a range. They were not cleared hot. They were in a processing line, doing the ordinary, miserable, necessary work the Army makes you do before it sends you to war: bloodwork, shots, dental, legal, wills. A will is what you sign so your family is not left guessing if you don’t come home. That is the room he chose.
He killed 13 and wounded 30. A man in uniform turned a readiness center into a killing floor.
I was in the building next to it doing reverse SRP, because I had just gotten back from Iraq. Reverse SRP is the other end of the same pipeline. You come home, you turn in gear, you get screened, you start the long walk back into a life that does not run on convoy times and casualty reports. I had already been downrange. I was not there as a commentator. I was there as a medic, one building over, while soldiers and civilians who had not even left yet were being shot where they stood.
A medic’s job is to stop the bleeding. That day, the bleeding started in a room where nobody was armed to stop the man causing it. I have carried that with me. Not as a theory. As a building I can still point to.
I was hoping the MPs would have killed him that day. That is the honest version. He was an officer in the United States Army, and a mental health physician, and he had never deployed at all. When his change of command cut him orders, he did not get on a plane. He went and killed people who had nothing to do with those orders. The soldiers in that line did not write his assignment. They did not sit on his promotion board. They were there to draw blood and sign wills before they went to do the job he refused to do. He made them pay for paperwork that was not theirs.
He lived. He got 17 more years of life after that room. Meals. Appeals. A bed. Time. The 13 did not get 17 more minutes. So where is the justice? A sentence that can be aged out of is not a sentence. It is a delay with a docket number.
So when I hear them announce a firing squad for the man who shot up Fort Hood, I don’t hear it the way a lot of people online hear it. I was there. A court already found him guilty and sentenced him to death. Carrying that sentence out is not revenge. Revenge is personal. This is the bill coming due. Thirteen people went to do bloodwork and sign their wills and did not go home. Thirty more carried wounds out of a building that was supposed to be the safest part of a deployment. Justice that never arrives is just a press release with a robe on.
Scripture does not blush at this.
“And he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one” (Luke 22:36). That verse is not a license to murder. It is not a slogan for a man who walks into a processing center and shoots people who cannot shoot back. It is a refusal to pretend the world is safe just because we wish it was. Unarmed people doing bloodwork and wills still needed someone between them and a gunman. They didn’t have it. A cloak will not stop a bullet, and a speech after the fact will not either.
Scripture also draws a hard line between murder and the sword of the magistrate. “Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man” (Genesis 9:6). The image of God is the reason the crime is so heavy, not the reason the guilty walk free. “He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death” (Exodus 21:12). And the law is specific about buying your way out: “Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death” (Numbers 35:31). No ransom. No campaign. No rebranding. Seventeen years is a long satisfaction.
There is a time for both ends of this. “A time to kill, and a time to heal” (Ecclesiastes 3:3). I lived in the healing part. I was a medic. Healing does not erase the other half of the verse. And when the sentence just sits there, year after year, Scripture already named what happens next: “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil” (Ecclesiastes 8:11). Delay teaches. It teaches the next man that the room is soft.
Personal vengeance is not mine. “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord” (Romans 12:19). The next chapter does not cancel that. It hands the sword to lawful authority: “For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil” (Romans 13:4). A firing squad, after a verdict, is that sword. It is not a mob. It is not a comment section. It is the state doing the one job Scripture says it may not shrug off.
I also find it sad that so many people cheered the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and that some of those same voices are now protecting and supporting a man who killed 13 unarmed people and wounded 30. You don’t get to celebrate one killing and then plead mercy for the other. Not if the standard is the same. A crowd that cheers a murder and then weeps for a murderer is not confused about violence. It is only confused about whose violence it is willing to excuse.
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness” (Isaiah 5:20). That is the reversal. The unarmed soldier signing a will is treated as expendable. The officer who shot him, the physician who never deployed, is treated as a cause. God is not mocked by the renaming. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7).
I don’t need a thread to tell me what happened in that building. I was next door. I have the paperwork. And I have not forgotten the people who were only there to get ready to serve.

Agreed - Massachusetts residents should vote for @JohnEDeaton1
Crypto holders in MA should realize @SenWarren is the one who got Gary Gensler his job and encouraged him to (unlawfully) try and kill the crypto industry in America. Luckily they did not succeed as we and others fought back.
She is anti-freedom, thinks the government should run all financial services (similar to China), and has done enormous harm to this country.

If you live in Massachusetts you should vote for @JohnEDeaton1.
Deaton has done more for crypto freedom than all other candidates combined.
His opponent @SenWarren (founder of the Anti-Crypto Army) believes you should be debanked if you make investment choices she disapproves.

I lost my Dad on 9/11. I don’t get a lot of reach on here. But I just wanted to share a picture. He was 39. I thought he was old. I’m now in my mid 30s and I still feel like a kid.
He was a great trader. He loved markets. He loved to find a stock no one was talking about.
The first trade I ever placed was on his work computer, where he let me click the button to buy AMAT. I loved going to the office with him. It was electric.
He was the best dad. We spent hours out in the street after dinner where he’d throw “pop flys” for me to catch. Eye on the ball.
He loved watching Sponge Bob and eating cereal, wrestling with us in the living room. He just loved being around his kids so much, and we knew it. I’m so grateful I got a dad like that.
Love you, Pops.
