I don’t think people realise how much strength it takes to pull yourself out of a dark place mentally. If you did that today, or any day, I’m proud of you.

A real leader, with so much to be proud of.

Art is therapy. Dance is therapy. Sobbing on the kitchen floor is therapy. Play is therapy. Setting a boundary is therapy. Allowing someone else to see you is therapy. Find your therapy, prioritize it, and let it heal you.

How beautiful would it be if we said to people we loved: “I’m not feeling like my best self today, can you remind me of who I am?” And that person said a few reasons why they appreciate you, for you. Appreciation and connection heal us.

the hardest thing i've learned last year is that u can’t make someone communicate & work things out. u can't beg for someone to see that u are worth fighting for & i stand by that now.

I promise you, it's not overthinking when you're right about it, it's not overreacting when your mental health is triggered, it's not oversensitive when you share your feelings, it's not oversharing when you communicate your needs, and it's not over feeling when you're vulnerable

You may never get closure, an explanation, or an apology. But we can learn from everything we experience and become wiser, kinder versions of ourselves in the process.
Friend meant to be arriving in Australia tomorrow for Christmas but @WestJet cancel all their flights and FAIL to rebook her. She now apparently has to wait three days because they can’t rebook or answer their phones even though their policy is to be rebooked within 48hrs....
It shouldn’t take over 12 hours for @WestJet to even answer her ( they haven’t yet btw, just an email saying sorry- which isn’t good enough)
