Yesterday, I wasn’t the nurse but the terrified relative. Thank you to the amazing team on AMU and @AcuteResponse for giving my dad the care you did. You guys worked so hard to try and save him and I’ll be forever grateful. You did @gloshospitals proud.
Sleep peacefully Dad ❤️
After said nights, I pulled an “all-dayer” and went to Birmingham to meet up with Mum who was on coach trip weekend! So nice to see her and the Christmas market 🙂 and yes, of course we went on the carousel 🎠😉
On my nights recently, I covered our Acute Haematology and Oncology Unit “helpline”. I’ve worked in there a fair bit during the day, but this was my first time overnight, meaning decision making was down to me! Was scary but I’m super proud 💪🏼 #SACTNurse #cancernurse #proud
This came the other day! Always feels more official when you get a shiny certificate! Excited I can now practice as a SACT trained nurse! 💙
Love this so much. Super proud oncology nurse 💙
We're delighted to have had our best-ever results in the National Cancer Patient Experience survey. Patients described the care and treatment they received as "outstanding" and "simply first class" bit.ly/3JH5GdK
Thank you to everyone involved in providing this care 💙

I’ve truly adored being “practice assessor” for an incredible first year student nurse these last couple of months.
Receiving such beautiful thank you gifts and a lovely card, along with positive written feedback for my portfolio/revalidation has brought a tear to my eye ❤️

Reminder: Make sure you don’t run out of your usual medication this #PlatinumJubilee bank holiday.
Order your prescription in advance and make sure you collect enough medication to last.

Happy International Nurses Day to all you amazing people out there! 👩🏻⚕️🏥❤️
I feel amazingly privileged to work as a Staff Nurse in our brilliant oncology centre, where our team spirit leads to exceptional patient care!
Wishing all my nursing colleagues best wishes, always 💙
2 years ago! This was such a good example of holistic care ❤️
It was the hottest day of the year so far in 2020 and the wonderful cardiac ICU consultant for the weekend insisted all stable/well enough patients be wheeled out to the roof terrace for some fresh air and sunshine ☀️
Busy shift today! First time giving IV Immunoglobulins, a very specialised haematological treatment for CLL. The regime/protocol felt intimidating initially, but thank you to one of our Haem CNSs Lisa for being an amazing support and showing me the ropes! #haematology #CLL
Happy Easter from our nerdy abode!
May your day be filled with happiness (and plenty of goodies if it takes your fancy!) 🐣💙
So kind. It’s the thoughtful little touches that can mean the most. Thank you 💙
A massive thank you to Gloucester Feed The Hungry for their generous donation of Easter Eggs for our patients! So very kind and will for sure put a smile on their faces this weekend 🐣🥚💙 @gloshospitals @RyeworthC #easter #eastereggs #donation #thankyou
