I agree & also suspect there exists deeper insights & complex processes lurking beneath what u described .. some of what you're describing about people's lack of balance reflects their anxiety .. a consequence of deeper factors, from which emerges an inability to notice the imbalance or focus on creative play .. people seem to be reactive..cuz overwhelmed .. acting out a momentum-fueled autopilot loop. This relatively unconscious "state" of awareness, or lack thereof, obscures the notion of "choice". For me, the "emptiness" you mention represents "potential" .. I'm interested in helping others be more flexible with the structures they build - very generally speaking .. considering that anything we're doing or thinking about operates within some structured "system". Related to your post, people tend to strengthen the WALLS of the "houses" they build, instead of strengthening the thing which constructed it - their consciousness .. They end up identifying with the mind's products instead of the conscious processes with which it CREATES. In identifying with the house, they fortify the walls, imprisoning themselves.. which becomes a limitation .. but only when what they've built & fortified can no longer contain the entropy. The entropy can be resolved by methods ranging from reorganizing or restructuring the interior to expanding the walls; most people psychologically resist this, in that they identify with the structure, the WAY that they process the data, so they become overwhelmed by the excess. So the structure or narrative or map or system with which we "store" information IS important. It kind of serves as our "interface" -in both directions- since how it's structured is an EFFECT of our processing which thereby AFFECTS our future processing, in that it functions as an algorithm .. or "the means with which we process" .. It's a self-referential recursive loop. We can dig further into the complexity by analyzing the language; consider the multiple layers inherent in the word "how" here .. it is its own recursive linguistic loop: - on one layer, the "how" describes the act or the "process" of structuring or building - the verb - on another layer, the "how it's built" represents the final-outcome or static "effect" TOOL .. the noun .. the algorithmic mechanism designed to fulfill some other purpose. Said otherwise, - The "HOW we build each structure" (system/map/narrative) - - "is informed by / is an effect of" how we understand/process information (experiential data) - AND then that (system/map/narrative) "structure" then affects our "outcomes" .. again, there exists multiple layers: it filters WHAT we perceive / what we pay attention to, it dictates HOW we process experiential data .. thru & from which, emerges the conclusions we make... and the loops repeat. Yeah, I know, i know ... autistic-level analysis .. not just a #GoodBandName, it IS a painfully annoying curse for self & others - ... that is, until the bell of insight 🛎️ rings, signaling "quantum-alignment achieved!" , the black-belt of algorithmic jiujitsu. Ok, I got carried away on the tangent... back to fortifying the walls of our structures .. the systems we build, the stories we tell .. are helpful, even necessary .. until they aren't. As we experience & interact with the systems & people of the world, we get bombarded with data. We organize it within our established framework -- until we can't .. perhaps the result of repeat feedback which signals "ERROR!", repeated to an extent that - we can no longer ignore that it doesn't compute - or that we're lying to ourselves - or when our head hurts from banging it against some wall This is inevitable; the moment when our features .. structures, our framework, our narratives become a SELF-LIMITING bug. It often feels painful, for different reasons. It seems like our culture conditions us to identify with our structures systems - we call them "OUR BELIEFS", right? .. and when they define us, we cling to justifying them, as a means to avoid feeling wrong, often associated with "shame". The good news is that that, too, is just another algorithm, one that is deeply flawed -- this misguided "understanding" is so far out of alignment with the Nature of human consciousness .. think about it -- To condemn or criticize "errors" or "mistakes" (whether that's you, others, or society) as if such a thing is anything BUT a necessary feature of LEARNING .. is an act of (self) betrayal .. a crime against Humanity BY humanity, which has become so deeply embedded in society that "feeling bad" for mistakes is normalized, & expected, predicted, & thusly, EXPLOITED. Mistakes can be thought of as simply what they are: a healthy, natural/inherent part of the recursive feedback-loop process of how humans learn/grow/develop. Imagine how empowering it would be if society aligned with that? Imagine who YOU would be if you aligned yourself this way .. and in doing so, you'd be helping others to do the same .. so LETSSSS GOOOOOO ! ! !
