And that's the problem with holding onto nostalgia, especially on Bandai nudt making color versions of the 90s devices. I was hoping that they'd have made a "Vital Watch," or at least some device that uses modern sprites and activities like "Digimon Up" (without the freemium hold-backs). In fact, some people felt disappointed by it,cbur I ironically think that the Monster Hunter x Digimon device is Bandai's best Digimon device simply because the monsters look well detailed. Plus, it gets the job of being able to raise the Monster Hunter monsters done as a crossover vpet. Plys, I like the shell design.
I'm still not a fan of the colored blocky 90s sprites that Digimon Color and Digimon Pendulum Color are using, which is why I passed on getting the Godzilla or the Digimon Beatbreak vpet. In fact, Beatbreak could have been the perfect opportunity for a next-gen vpet, but it's just Digimon Color again. (I mean, look at Tamagotchi, or third-party vpets for Saniro and the others by the same Bandai.)
