Week Without Walls prep-- all ready to go do crafts and games at an elementary school with this wonderful crew
Advisees came in really stressed to our group meeting, having had “like the longest week ever.”The solution? Karaoke and Just Dance, of course!

Pretty amazing and heartwarming to watch over 35 @TCSBears Littleside field hockey athletes play one another in an official league game yesterday. It’s all about the opportunity to play and be a part of an incredible sport - so awesome!!!🏑 #fieldhockey #golittlesidebears

TCS has the world's best librarians. @sstraughan1 @satorrible
It’s debate week in ESL. The resolution was “Money can’t buy happiness.” Students planned, researched, spoke, responded, and refuted. One team even says they’re going to volunteer for the next round of house debates!
I feel so lucky to work with such a lovely and supportive group of athletes- hardworking, dedicated, and, most importantly, so wonderful to one another. They make the end of every work day fun 🏑
Three brave new athletes geared up to play goalie for our two Littleside teams this year @AOG16

Over 100 athletes at @TCSBears are pumped about field hockey. Fun Fridays rock. Our hearts are full! 🙌🏑@AndreaMathieson
English dep't on trial task going well. One student's opening statement includes: "For too long, it has been one voice labeled as “classic” or “canon” but these labels are only possible because other voices were erased from history or never allowed to speak in the first place."
Not one student quoted Dumbledore and answered "No spell can reawaken the dead” in response to this question on a vocabulary building assessment in ESL and I am only a bit disappointed.
I told my advisees I'd bring them breakfast, and the car ahead of me paid and for a second I thought I was THE MAIN CHARACTER in a romantic comedy but in reality it was a chain of paying and I got stressed and didn't pay for the car behind me so now I need a new Tim Horton's.
