Two other Jalens had to be helped off the court tonight. Could be a lot worse. 2026-27 will require patience and perspective. Embrace this early test.

The defending champion New York Knicks are 0-3. React accordingly.

Skinny KAT’s been focused and good. That’s something.

Four months after being on the floor when the Knicks won their first title in 53 years. NBA has never been more densely talented.

Winning a title means you never have to sweat an October loss for the rest of your days. Take advantage of this liberating blessing!

Listen, I know how bad they’ve looked & how frustrating losing is… but I can’t emphasize enough how very unbothered by this start I am lol They’ll figure it out. That’s what champions do.

"The Knicks won a title four months ago but probably won't win another one" isn't really landing as a burn, I gotta say!

Highlight of a spirited McBride showing. He and KAT kept this competitive. Hard to overcome Tatum's shotmaking, questionable officiating, and Mikal's enduring hangover. Even harder to get too high or low right now. Perk of being a champion. Unsurprised by the 0-2 start.

I would rather lose my mind after a 29-point comeback in June than October.

Fare thee well, resilient champion. Helpful minutes during last season's dog days. Really enjoyed his endearing "big bro" relationship with Hart.

Jason Woliner's criminally overlooked PAUL T. GOLDMAN feels like YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING's closest spiritual companion. Still my favorite Peacock original. *Highly* recommend.

It sucks that in LeBron James’ most memorable highlight he is wearing a short sleeves tee shirt.

Drummond's a significantly stronger fit in moderation. While limited lift is no surprise, his legs looked way heavier in the second half. Even if KAT can avoid early fouls, short Wiseman stints will soon become essential. xitter.cf/NBAPerformances/status…

Andre Drummond gave the Knicks a strong presence inside against Philadelphia. 12 PTS, 14 REB, 4 AST, 1 STL, 2 BLK, 0 TO An impressive double double in his first regular season game with New York.

Only time I got worked up during last night's action. LeBron isn't going to reform Embiid. His comparably insufferable theatrics will only enable 'em more. xitter.cf/NBA_NewYork/status/211…
