Knew Eric a good long time. He taught me what makes a winning audition. He encouraged me when I was just a kid. Eric Bauza was such a good guy.
Too god damned early.
We were supposed to get a drink. He invited me out, but we got too busy. We never got a picture together, just us. I'll regret that.
Rest well, Eric. Everyone's brother, everyone's cool uncle. I'm going to miss you horribly.
I'm sorry, I'm usually better with these... It's just been too many deaths in such a short time. Words fail. My chest is caving in.

Gracias, amigo. My life was immeasurably changed for the better by having met Eric Bauza in 2003. He just made everything he worked on better. A generational talent. A legend. I would write and design characters giddy thinking how he would bring them to life. And behind the scenes, an incredibly kind, humble and open-hearted good dude. How luck we all were to have been able to witness his talent shine. And boy did it shine!!! My heart goes out to his family and friends. Adios, amigo. You will never be forgotten.

Hereâs my singing audition that helped me book âBye Bye Bunny: A Looney Tunes Musical â â with screenplay and lyrics by Emmy Award winner Ariel Dumas (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert) and music and orchestration by Pulitzer Prize, Tony and Grammy winner Tom Kitt (Next to Normal). Wish we couldâve seen this one come to fruition â wouldâve been a good one đď¸ đĽ đż đĽđ°#StandWithAnimation @papertiki
When I first met Eric Bauza a few years ago, he asked for a photo with me because he was grateful for the early COYOTE VS. ACME support on DF. I couldn't believe he was the one asking for a photo but he was really that kind. No one cared more about Looney Tunes than him, truly.
I am utterly speechless. We were just hanging out at the Forgotten Island premiere, sharing so many stories about the long road to releasing Coyote vs. Acme. Shit, I was supposed to interview him this week for Daffy Season. I'm in tears, rip to a true legend.

Travis Knight says the final battle in âWILDWOODâ is the most difficult sequence ever made at LAIKA.
âIt required us to use every single technique⌠It's a combination of hand drawn animation, stop-motion animation, CG animation & itâs something to behold.â

muted it. But I essentially had random DC fans send death threats to me, my family, my non existing children and try to end my career because I thought Clayface had poor pacing. Reeks of misogyny plus his issue is no one follows my RT?

Canât stop watching this video of Sacha Baron Cohen trying to use Noel Gallagher to promote Ali G at AMC Empire 25 last night, except no one in the audience appears to really know who Noel is reddit.com/r/NYCmovies/commeâŚ

Travis Knight tells us why he wanted to adapt Colin Meloyâs âWILDWOODâ novel into a massive stop-motion animated film.
âIt felt like it was breathing the same air as all these classic fantasies and fairytales that I loved my entire life, like Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, or Frank Baum.â
While I donât agree with this take, itâs not surprising that some folks feel this way since Romulus was built as a gateway into the franchise for a whole new generation.
It would be counterintuitive to leave Rain and Andy out of this sequel, they should be the ones facing David!
