Today is our second wedding anniversary, to celebrate this day Anna is on the way to do her biometrics at the visa centre in Izmir Turkey, I’m in the U.K. trying to get in as much work as possible..it’s been a tough few years but we are finally getting somewhere, We may be skint and a little broken but one day we will be living in the same country. This has to be the most stressful day of the last 10 years. Visa application day. We have everything we need. The biggest worry is that they won’t accept the payment from Anna’s Turkish bank..nothing would surprise us at this stage. Good afternoon, we are at the stage of Anna applying for a U.K. spouse visa. This year has broken the both of us. Myself as a self employed British citizen having to meet the MIR whilst also trying to maintain our married life. Anna trying to do what work she can while living in a foreign country. If you know anything about the U.K. visa system it’s one of the harshest and cruelest in the world. All our savings vanished because of having to rent an apartment for Anna in Turkey. In a few months we should be at the stage of bringing this bunch to the U.K.

This video is myself after one year of trying to reach the MIR for a spouse visa, doing manual labour, for me a British citizen to be worthy of living with my wife Anna in the country I was born. This last year has crippled my body, I now need knee and hip surgery. How are the U.K. spouse visa rules cost effective when you break yourself to meet the requirements.
I today had it confirmed by my accountant that I have indeed reached the income requirements needed for my wife to apply for a spouse visa. Thanks a bunch to my mp Rishi Sunak for is inhumane policy and a most stressful few years 👍now to give the government 10k in tax and national insurance 2k in visa fees, 3k nhs surcharge..Brilliant

Family’s like mine are living apart. For one year they have used the “in due course” line! Stop this inhumane legal migration business run by the U.K. government.
