@MPS_News staff has grown significantly while student enrollment has declined. This imbalance is fundamentally unsustainable & has significantly worsened the past 3 years.
In the decade before I joined @RPS535, the # of staff in our district grew much faster than the # of students. Since enrollment generates revenue, that's unsustainable. As this graph shows, we are putting the district on a path to financial stability. It's painful but essential:
