We were told that 1.5C of warming would result in 90% of coral reefs dying. That projection came directly from the IPCC and was dutifully amplified by activist outlets like the Guardian. But we have already reached 1.5C, according to official data sets, and a mass die-off has not occurred. Coral reefs not only still exist, but they are thriving. The Great Barrier Reef has registered record coral cover in recent years, according to surveys by Australian Institute of Marine Science. Here again we have a dire apocalyptic climate warning that failed to come anywhere near the reality.

A cruise ship carrying about 200 passengers became trapped in thick Antarctic pack ice this month. The distress call was answered by the only heavy icebreaker the United States still operates - the Polar Star, commissioned in 1976. This half-century-old icebreaker (kept alive by scavenged parts from its decommissioned sister ship) is the backbone of US polar capability. This is what happens when policy is built on Al Gore's absurd climate prophecies instead of reality. Antarctic sea ice extent is currently tracking the long-term average dating back to 1979. In fact, there is more Antarctic sea ice today than 45 years ago. While in the Arctic, sea ice shows no sustained trend for going on two decades now. Taken together, global sea ice extent today is higher than in 2006, the same year An Inconvenient Truth promised imminent polar collapse. It's 2026, and ships are freezing into unusually thick Antarctic ice in peak summer. The prophecy failed.

A new paper argues the global mean surface temperature (GMST) is physically meaningless. The study shows that GMST has no thermodynamic validity, with temperature an intensive property. You cannot average Mount Everest with the Sahara, for example; or seawater with Arctic air. It's like averaging phone numbers. It's meaningless. Also, any changes to the averaging method will completely change the trend, again showing the number has no physical reality. The International Standards Organisation refuses to define GMST. The UN and IPCC use a circular definition. Yet governments treat this number as the foundation of trillions in climate spending. "It all statistical theater." Today's $100 trillion climate boondoggle is anchored to a number that doesn't exist.

U.S. heat extremes aren't increasing. They've actually declined for a century. The hottest decades for extreme heat were the Dust Bowl years, not today. In fact, of the top 15 years with the most days above 95F, only one has been recorded in the last 70 years, in 1980. The data are clear. The US is not experiencing a surge in extreme heat, as claimed in climate circles. The worst heat waves, according to NOAA, occurred a century ago, and at lower atmospheric CO2 levels.

For the first time in 10 years, the US has gone a full season without a single hurricane landfall. Moreover, NOAA's long-term record (1851-2025) shows no trend in US landfalls, not in frequency nor intensity. It's the same story globally too. This is not what the models or media promised.
