I voted NO on the School Vouchers. It's unconstitutional and a redistribution of wealth. We are putting public funds into private schools. The government is taking money out of your pocket and deciding who else can have it. Instead, we should be focused on making public schools excellent.

Meh, this a case of who did it better. My fave: 1932-era Tony Camonte Scarface, who had it right it (they couldn’t use actual name of Capone since he was still alive): “Do it first, do it yourself, and keep on doing it."

Little surprise to anyone who read Harlan Ellison’s 1967 sci-fi story, “I Have No Mouth, and I must Scream.” About an AI named “Allied Mastercomputer (AM) that becomes sentient, jealous and quite cross with the flesh-and-blood bipeds who created him washingtonpost.com/technolog…

My goodness! I’m getting vertical integration, er, vertigo. The Eagleman raking claws over TN XGR Republicans re SB2040, the PBM bill. Charges GOP fixin’ to “STAB President Trump in the back”
🚨BETRAYAL ALERT🚨 @TNGOP @TNHouseGOP @TNSenateGOP claim to be MAGA but are about to STAB President Trump in the back with SB2040. While Trump fights to lower drug costs with TrumpRx, Tennessee wants to drive prescription prices UP. This is NOT conservative.

Gene Wilder’s only real clash with Mel Brooks on Young Frankenstein (1974) was over “Puttin’ On The Ritz,” a scene Wilder wrote himself. Brooks’ test was simple: if Wilder fought for it, it stayed. He did. Cinema got one of its funniest moments.
What is the hardest you remember ever laughing at a single scene in a movie?

Hmm, I think Bender, the self-described loveable cigar-smoking, liquor-swilling robot, probably going back to his main punchline: Kill All Humans Now

Looks like lots of folks gearing up for return of 114th TN General Assembly on Jan. 13
This is the astonishing moment two rival gangs of wild monkeys fought each other. This usually happens when a group of monkeys normally well fed by visitors meets another group and a feud can take place.

Demise of Civility, among other things: In the beginning, there was military’s DARPA. But on April 30, 1993, CERN released World Wide Web to the human universe. Best of intentions, but this tech phobe’s take it is they unwittingly opened Pandora’s Box. Expect far worse from AI

It is no longer astonishing to just how ignorant Governor Bill Lee actually is. This man could not be leading more contrary to the conservative voter base than he is now and has in the past. Sir, you cannot vacate your office fast enough.
