This is a major story. TCO must be in place prior to an event like this happening. It is inconceivable that the city of miami or the county of miami dade would allow this game to take place without the TCO. And all indications are that there is zero chance that the TCO will be granted prior to the match tomorrow. Why not acknowledge the delay? Seems smarter than having a bad first impression or worse, endangering fans or workers.

SLATER SCOOP: Former USF football coach Jim Leavitt was arrested on Monday night at an apartment complex near Tampa, FL.
Leavitt is accused of grabbing his ex girlfriend by the arm and taking her Louis Vuitton purse, clutch, and wallet.
Police also say Leavitt pushed a man at the apartment.
He’s been charged with felony grand theft and two counts of battery.

NEW: Former MLB All-Star Rafael Furcal's arrest stems from an incident where he's accused of throwing rocks at a driver behind a Publix supermarket.
The victim, after he started bleeding, then chased Furcal on foot and punched him before Furcal took off in his pickup truck.

Police say Hayes was driving the car involved in this crash, which now has claimed three lives.
No charges have been filed as of now as the investigation is ongoing, cops say.
I've learned that Hayes had been involved in two other crashes in recent history and had been ticketed on at least seven different occasions.
Cops alleged he was going 80mph on US-1 in Miami just a few weeks ago, also once raced with another car on the highway at 90+, and another time almost sideswiped a police car.
