It's a really wild one, and you would have to be super familiar with the core devs back then just to understand it. It’s actually a literal interpretation of the usernames of the developers. Back in 2017, they were: @Fluffypony, Luigi1111, Tacotime, NoodleDoodle, Smooth, Othe, and ArticMine. I ended up with a weird psychedelic fever dream illustration trying to reference all those names in a single image. I've thought a lot about how you would tell @xmrMoneroCat Luke's story in the genAI world of 2026. Back in 2017, all I could manage was 1 comic page per day, and that was breakneck speed. But nowadays we can tell whatever stories we want, almost as quickly as we can dream them up. So maybe the 2026 MoneroCat revival won't be in comicbook form anymore, but something else entirely ... 👀
