Mwenje argues that our politics is trapped in a dangerous cycle of "banking on benevolence" i.e hoping that if we just elect the right, virtuous, or empathetic individual, systemic problems will magically vanish. But as he points out, personal integrity and grand campaign promises can never substitute for real accountability. When evaluating leaders, we shouldn't rely on personalities or blind loyalties; we have to interrogate their actual conduct, records, and governing strategies. Why do we keep buying into the savior narrative when history shows benevolence isn't a policy?

Nkt 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
In high school I attended almost all Mathematics contests. Kuna this serious fraud going on in National Schools. I remember I did one Mathelete Contest at Kenya High School. Now, there was a serious conmanship among Schools such as Alliance, Mangu and Starehe. Worse was Kamusinga and Maranda. These schools that put on shorts. During the contest you would be in a room with your fellow Form 2s. So some from Mangu, Maranda, Kamusinga, Alliance etc. There was something weird. All these in the room hakuna mwenye akona uniform mpya. If you would look at their zigwembe Bwana, you would conclude huyo si Form 2. Ni Form 4 ama Old boy. When results came in, these schools would lead in everything. Kumbe they used to take Form 4s to contests and distribute them... The game was seriously rigged huko.

Socrates knew that he knew nothing. And so we are proud that there are 1,000 + of us who know that they know nothing, together on these twitter streets. We are grateful to all our followers from Kenya and beyond who consume and interact with the information we put out. Despite starting the account this year, the engagement we have recieved online and offline has led our community to grow immensely.

KBC can turn this to an income generation idea Create a library/Archive system for researchers or student's interested in Kenyan History I believe @AnganaKeith said Nation Media had a section where you can look for archival newspapers Sijui kama wako na video clip's!
In Baba .@RailaOdinga's final days, I noticed a deep sense of nostalgia whenever he spoke about his father, Jaramogi. 3 months before his passing, he tasked me with retrieving archival video footage of his father from the @KBCChannel1 where I was serving on the Board of Directors
