There are national reviewers that have reviewed more shows in New York than York this year, that would have you believe the only theatre in Yorkshire is the Crucible and the occasional show at Leeds. This is a disrespect to @thesjt @HullTruck and @york

Press is a vital part of the industry, creating a buzz and ultimately sales for a show. Publications that focus predominantly on London but call themselves national need to be honest. Middle Child make amazing theatre and I love their honesty. But I'll say what their AD can't
