WONDER EGG PRIORITY - EP 1 That was a really impressive first episode! This anime was suggested to me if I like Sonny Boy and looks like they're right it has the same surrealistic elements I like from that show. Apart from that, I'm interested how they'll handle the themes

I think this is the premise of the show. ​It's about bullying and the stuggles these children faced. Something tragic happened to the MC's friend and she is trying to rescue her and to do so she has to defeat the enemies whenever she enters in the dream like state and these

obstacles are littered with allegory about bullying, depression, trauma etc. The MC must like play a new stage or level get closer in rescuing her friend. Also there spawns a different player in these eggs. That's what happened when she cracked the egg.

My Happy Marriage Special Episodes - 3.5/10 What I thought would be like a good dessert for a show I really like turned out to be the straw that would make me hate this show. It such a tone deaf way to add this in this segment. That parted us with such a horrible message.

My Happy Marriage Special Episodes - EP 2 WTF was this episode? What the fuck did they do to Kiyoka? Why was he so rude in this episode? You know I thought after being with Miyo he'd symphatize with women silenced by patriarchal authority turns out he was just a part of it also.

They also had a really mid battle sequence by the end of the episode. You know fights aren't the strongest part of My Happy Marraige but I can forgive some but not in this episode. It pissed me off so much, I have nothing but disdain while watching this.

At the end of the confrontation, she could do nothing but fall to her knees. She felt so alone in this world. Seeing that just reminded me how many women in real life have been in that situation where no one is on their side and no one believes in them, and it angered me.

It angered me further when, by the end of these special episodes, it looked like the message they were trying to convey was that you shouldn't resort to evil even if you are at the bottom. Which I just fucking disagree with. FUCK THIS SHOW.

Fighting demons with magical powers is the least interesting part of this show for me 😭 The hook of this show to me is watching Miyo heal from her childhood trauma. I've grown fond of her and want to see her happy ❤️‍🩹💝

My Happy Marriage - 8.4/10 I love Miyo so much. Rewatched S1E1 of the show and I find joy whenever Miyo finds confidence in herself and the 2nd season does that job great. Overall this is a good season, expanded more on the world of the show and the drama between their families.
