As I’ve moved through grief and toward acceptance of my mother’s suicide and my sister’s homicide, I’ve learned some hard truths:
1. No one is entitled to justice.
2. Getting lost in the smallest details of a case often changes nothing. Understanding the fuller picture matters more.
3. Everything happens for a reason—though it can take time to see what that reason is.
4. There is good that can be found even inside horrific loss. Balancing the good with the bad is essential.
5. Complicated grief will consume your life if you stay stuck in it.
These realizations have been difficult, but they’ve helped me keep moving forward.

I knew this but hearing it from someone else made my blood boil.

🚨 Why wasn’t her DNA found on the exercise bands? There were 3… nothing was found on any of them.
Patrick’s DNA was… of course he stated he untied them…. Fair enough.
So, the person that did it must have wore gloves…. right?
We know Lindsay didn’t wear any gloves… she didn’t have “time.”
