€102 million more of Irish taxpayers’ money has been shamefully allocated to horse racing and greyhound racing in #Budget2027. This will bring to over TWO BILLION EUROS (€2,036,271,127) the amount channelled into the two gambling activities since 2001 facebook.com/photo?fbid=1413…
Party for Animal Welfare (PAW) has heard several unconfirmed reports of animals being injured during last night's Halloween celebrations by illegal fireworks. And in the days leading up to #Halloween, example at #Elphin Co #Roscommon; #Carlow and #Cashel, Co #Tipperary

🌧️🐾 KEEP YOUR FURRY FRIENDS SAFE DURING #STORMAUSTEN & #STORMBOELO! 🐶🐱❤️
⚠️ As #StormAusten approaches Ireland, please bring your pets indoors and keep them safe! With #StormBoelo reportedly hot on its heels this weekend, we need to stay vigilant. 💨🌧️

Please sign & share: End Horse Fairs in Ireland and Put Animal Welfare First 🇮🇪
Often horse fairs in Ireland are also a magnet for horses (ab)used in sulky racing.

Under Irish law, the greyhound breed is not a dog, it's a farm animal. Their worth is decided by how fast they can run. Thousands are killed each year. Watch Greyhounds Running For Their Lives youtube.com/watch?v=ZYTb2qBj… and urge @MichealMartinTD @SimonHarrisTD to #BanGreyhoundRacing

Coillte's idea of "recreation" includes allowing hunters into forests to gun down young fawns in front of their mothers, before blasting the mothers to death 💔🦌 Retweet to urge @Coilltenews to keep hunters out of the forests. Killing should NOT be a part of "forest recreation"
