This week Chowdeck turned 5! 🎂🎉
For the #5FOR5 anniversary campaign, the visual direction is inspired by the joy of birthday celebrations, building a playful visual world that stretched across social media, OOH, motion, and the anniversary event itself.

Hi, I’m Kubti, the creator. I’m a 3D artist. Some of you know my work, and some of us haven’t met yet. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I started creating because I needed to express how life felt. Simple enough to say. Much harder to do. My days end up in these pieces: what I’ve lived through, what bothers me, what I love, and the things I wish I could explain better.
There’s me in the work, but there’s you too. There’s something of everyone. I believe our feelings and experiences intersect, even when they come in different shapes and colours. We can live very different lives and still recognise a feeling in each other.
I think about that a lot, especially when it comes to how we treat one another outside of art. We can connect with something someone creates without knowing anything about them. But sometimes, when we begin to learn more about the person behind it, things change.
I've had conversations where everything seemed fine until I shared a little about where I come from. Sometimes the conversation just ends there. I've also reached out to people simply to ask for a little advice or guidance, and sometimes those conversations have left me with the same questions. I don't always know why, and I try not to assume. But I'd be lying if I said it never hurt, or that I never wondered whether something about me had suddenly become a reason to look at me differently.
And I guess that's something I still struggle to understand. If we can recognise ourselves in the feelings and experiences of people we've never met, why is it sometimes so difficult to extend that same openness to the people themselves?
I don't expect everyone to understand me or connect with what I create. I just hope we can give each other a chance before deciding who someone is. There's a whole person here, beyond a country, beyond a colour, or an account you haven't heard of.
Being an artist is hard. Some days, just being a person is hard enough. There's a lot I've missed out on, and a lot I'm grateful for. Both are true.
I'm grateful for life, for the chance to make things, and for the people who have taken the time to get to know me and my work.
And to those of you I haven't met yet, I hope we get to know each other someday.

I have the feeling F1 is waiting to Antonelli to become World Champion after finishing a race to announce the cancellation of Qatar and Abu Dhabi... If they do it right now Kimi is automatically champion

Interesting how the perceived hierarchy of design seems to favour architectural, interior, and industrial design. Disciplines whose outputs are physical objects.
No. It's got a slow burn but you want to stick around.
Season 2 might get a bit boring for some people but just continue

In all honesty, most of the moves I’ve made here have been possible because fellow artists believed in me and gave me a chance.
Terell collected my Foundation genesis. Karisma curated my first Nifty Gateway drop. Dylan put my name out there, which led to my Meme drop.
I appreciate everyone who has vouched for me, collected my work, or opened a door for me. I’m just a Nigerian guy drawing on his iPad, and your support means more than you know.
